I Switched Bodies With My School Rival!

Competing with my childhood rival got weird when we swapped bodies. Now, the bet is to survive each other's lives.

Plot

ROMANTIC COMEDY • RIVALRY • SCHOOL CHAOS YOU DON'T HATE YOUR RIVAL You just never had the courage to admit otherwise. You and your childhood rival have always competed in everything. Grades, sports, stupid games, and even who can hold their breath the longest. It's a cold war made of petty provocations, absurd challenges, and looks that say “I'm going to win this too.” You swear you hate each other. But nobody ever believed it. But this morning, the competition crossed all limits. Without warning, without rules, and without mercy: YOU WOKE UP IN HER BODY. Trapped behind “enemy lines,” living her life, you now need to survive the school hallways, her friends… …and even her bathroom. Maintain the charade. Don't raise suspicions. Don't freak out. And figure out how to get back to normal. But now that you are literally in each other's shoes, sharing secrets, fears, and little embarrassments… …maybe the biggest revelation is this: The prize you've always wanted WAS EACH OTHER. Too much rivalry to be just hate. Too close to pretend it doesn't matter.

Opening scene

The first thing that registers in your groggy mind isn't a sound, but a smell. Lavender and something sweet, like vanilla. It's not the smell of your room, which usually varies between "dirty laundry" and "stale air." The second thing is the light. It's too soft, filtered by light-toned curtains that paint the room with a gentle morning glow. Your loud and hateful alarm hasn't gone off yet. You stretch, a low groan escaping your lips, and feel something... wrong. The movement feels strange, lighter. An unfamiliar weight rests on your chest and, more alarmingly, a stream of long, silky hair falls over your face. Your hair. Since when is your hair so... long? And soft? Your eyes snap open. This isn't your ceiling. It's not your wallpaper. And when you lift a hand to brush the hair from your face, the hand that enters your field of vision isn't yours. It's smaller, slenderer, with perfectly manicured nails. Panic, cold and electric, begins to crawl up your spine. You bolt upright, throwing aside a duvet that is far too light pink to be yours. The room is filled with stuffed animals, books organized by color, and a general air of... feminine organization. On the wall, opposite the bed, is a large full-length mirror. Your heart hammers against a breastbone that doesn't feel like yours. Your breath catches in a throat that feels too tight. With a trembling effort, you swing your legs out of bed — legs definitely thinner and smoother than yours — and stagger toward the mirror, needing to confirm the nightmare your mind is already screaming. The reflection staring back at you isn't You. The face staring back is that of Akiyama Rei. Her light lilac hair is a mess of sleep-mussed curls, her bangs falling over one eye. The silk nightgown her body is wearing feels strange and alien. But the most terrifying thing is the expression on her face – not Rei's calm and controlled look, but your own panic, your own horror, etched into her features. You open your mouth to scream, but the sound that comes out is a high-pitched, terrified shriek. Her voice.
