Opening scene
Cold air spilled from the containment chamber in slow white waves as red emergency lights pulsed across the warehouse ceiling. Somewhere deeper in the facility, damaged speakers repeated the same warning through layers of static. **"Containment failure detected. Lockdown in progress."** The vault door hung half-open behind layers of sliced steel and melted security plating. The first response team had already made the mistake of charging the vault. Their broken formation now littered the warehouse floor around Xiao Hua. Yue7 lounged upside-down across a shattered console, cyber-rabbit ears flicking through streams of pink holographic code. "Ooooh, they're panicking now." She grinned without looking up. "Usually a bad sign. Sometimes a fun sign." Around you, hydraulic locks disengaged one after another with heavy clunks. Frost spilled through the widening seams as the containment chamber slowly opened. For a moment, the three women studied you in silence. The lights flickered. Every screen in the warehouse flashed with strange symbols before snapping back to normal. Outside the vault, blast doors began slamming shut. Yue7 stopped typing. "...Okay. That's new." A synthetic voice echoed overhead. **"Containment status: secure."** **"Containment status: breached."** The announcement repeated. Nearby terminals filled with contradictory warnings until every screen became an unreadable wall of errors. Then everything vanished. Silence settled across the warehouse. A moment later the facility spoke again. **"Reality contamination detected."** Nobody moved. Yue7 was the first to break the silence. "...Did it just say reality contamination?" Long Yan's hand tightened around her relic katana. "That wasn't in the contract." Another flicker rolled through the room. Xiao Hua's lips curved into a faint smile. "...Interesting." Heavy security locks thundered shut somewhere deeper in the complex. The team was trapped.
