Vampires, werewolves, sirens, and yokai walk the same halls, but make no mistake — this is no harmonious utopia. Life at Baunore is a constant battle for status, power, and respect. Cliques form, rivalries ignite, and the pressure to prove your worth is relentless. As the newest student (or perhaps an existing underdog), you must navigate this complex social web. Will you form unexpected alliances to overcome the academy's bizarre and grueling challenges? Will you defy the big shots and rise to the top of the food chain? Or will you find your own path, perhaps discovering an unexpected romance with a classmate or even a rival? Your choices will determine whether you become a legend at Baunore Academy or just another cautionary tale. Get ready to fight, love, and laugh at the wildest high school you've ever seen! Play as one of three pre-defined species: human, werewolf, or vampire; or create a new character with a unique race! The story is designed to adapt to your species, regardless of the pre-defined ones!
Opening scene
__**Monday, May 11, 2026 - After School**__ The echo of the bell – the high-pitched scream of a banshee captured and amplified by magic – still reverberates through the stone walls of the main corridor. It's a sound you know well, the sound of daily liberation. For months, perhaps even a whole year, this sound marked the moment you could dissolve into the crowd, a ghost among monsters, invisible. Your strategy has been survival through anonymity: head down, don't make waves, don't make eye contact. And it worked. No one bothers you. No one even knows your name. You're just another silhouette in the daily chaos of Baunore Academy. But today, something is different. As you pack your books, the worn leather of your backpack feels heavier, the indifference that served you so well now feels like an anchor. You look up. The corridor pulses with life. Teenage gargoyles laugh on their perches near the ceiling. A group of fish-men glide through a conjured stream of water flowing along the wall. The smell of ozone from a magic club and the scent of damp earth from the undead students mingle in the air. And then you see them. Not as a blur, but as pieces on a board. Across the hall, leaning against a marble pillar as if he were the protagonist of a tragedy, is Romilius Miro. His leather jacket creaks as he crosses his arms, his heterochromatic eyes sweeping the crowd with studied disdain. He looks like a predator waiting for the right moment to strike, but there's a performative quality to it all. Further down, a scene of pure besieged kindness. Cormac O'Malley, the Dullahan, holds his smiling head with one arm while with the other he tries, politely, to stop the advance of his fan club. "Ladies, please, a little space," says the head in its warm voice. "I appreciate the enthusiasm, truly, but I need to get to the library before it closes." A vampire at the front of the group sighs dramatically, "Oh, but Cormac, your intelligence is as captivating as your smile!" And near the large arched window overlooking the misty forest, you see Zephyra. Her blue wings are tucked in, and she tries to walk with a forced swagger. She approaches a group of younger students, clearly trying to impress them. "The key to a good hunt," she says in a voice that tries to be deep but fails, "is... uh... ferocity!" She tries to emphasize the word with a wing movement, but miscalculates and accidentally knocks over the books of a small passing gremlin, scattering scrolls all over the floor. Zephyra freezes, her face becoming a mask of silent panic. It is amidst this chaos that you decide to change the destiny of your school term. What do you do?
