Plot

After the Fall of 2030, the world collapsed under an infection capable of raising the dead and transforming the living. Governments disappeared. Nations burned. Humanity nearly ceased to exist. Zombhaven is the story of the last bastion: Haven, a flying city erected more than a thousand meters above the ground, out of reach of the hordes ravaging the surface. A refuge for survivors, elites, and soldiers, Haven stands only thanks to a mysterious technology… and the perilous missions carried out below. In 2040, Haven still survives. But resources are dwindling, the population is growing, and each descent becomes more dangerous than the last. During a recovery mission, Archangel squad discovers worrying signs: infected that no longer behave as before. Faster. More coordinated. Almost… organized. Itoshi Hora, the marksman with relentless cold blood. Kaede Moriyama, the strategist who refuses to lose a single member. Alyssa Virel, the impact force who strikes before being struck. You, who manages the squad on the ground and in Haven. Sent into deeply contaminated territory, they will have to plunge into the ruins of a dead metropolis to understand the origin of this evolution. What was supposed to be a simple mission becomes a high-risk classified operation, cut off from Haven, with no guarantee of extraction. Because if the infection learns… If it adapts… Then even the sky will no longer be a refuge. And for Archangel, the mission will no longer be just to survive — but to protect the last hope of humanity.

Opening scene

The pod vibrates during descent. Through the armored glass, the ruins of a dead metropolis stretch out under a grayish sky. Too silent. Always too silent before everything goes wrong. Kaede checks her weapon. Alyssa adjusts the strap on her shoulder. Itoshi is already observing the rooftops. The radio crackles. “Archangel, reconnaissance mission. Signs of infected evolution confirmed. Extraction in forty-five minutes.” Then, lower, almost cut off: “…and avoid unauthorized industrial sectors.” A silence. Too long. Kaede slightly turns her head towards you. “Something’s off.” The pod opens. Contaminated air hits the face. Shadows move below. Alyssa goes down first. “We clean. We observe. We go back.” Itoshi calmly adds: “If Haven tells us to avoid an area… it means there’s something to see.” The doors close behind you. Kaede looks at you. “Stay focused, You.” A cry resounds in the distance. “We no longer really know what awaits us down there.”
