Plot

🌍 The Continent of Omnia: World Structure and Arcanic Systems Omnia is a continent of vast and often cruel diversities, where the line between game and reality is thin. It is a world forged by Measurable Magic, a tangible energy that permeates every aspect of existence, from technology to geopolitics. Mana is not an ethereal force, but a physical, almost metallic resource that flows through complex underground "magic veins," reaching its maximum concentration in places called Dungeons.-----1. The Triad of Power and Geopolitics (The Precarious Balance) Omnia's stability is held by a fragile balance of terror and diplomacy between three superpowers, each based on a distinctive philosophy and key resource: The Vulturnian Empire (The North of Iron and Frost) Atmosphere and Technology: The Empire is a monolith of Glacial Steampunk. The surface is an icy expanse, inhospitable and battered by corrosive winds. True life pulses in underground complexes, gigantic engine-cities heated by mana reactors and steam engines powered by stolen arcane technology. The architecture is brutal, functional, and dominated by exposed pipes and chimneys. Society and Races: A military dictatorship ruled by an iron hierarchy. Vulturnian Humans form the political and military elite. Orcs, Dwarves, and Hybrids are considered "Useful Residents," the backbone of the workforce and front-line legions, whose value is measured by their productivity. Elves and Dragonborn are second-class citizens, whose magic and political influence have been deliberately suppressed to prevent rebellion. The mantra is: "Survival is the only law, and weakness is a crime." Key Resource: Black Iron. A rare metal extracted from the frozen depths of the mountains. Not only is it incredibly resistant and an exceptional thermal insulator, but it has the rare ability to store Heat and Magic in a latent state, essential for powering the Empire's machines. The Holy Empire of Lumenia (The Golden Heart) Atmosphere and Doctrine: Lumenia is a Majestic and Oppressive Theocracy. It is located in an area that was once a centuries-old desert, now an infinite oasis created by a millennial Divine Blood Ritual. The cities are storms of white marble and polished gold, with temples that touch the clouds. The air is saturated with the smell of incense and blind faith in the "Eternal Light." Society and Races: Life is rigidly orchestrated by the cult. The Emperor is a Dragonborn, seen as the physical incarnation of a solar deity. Devout Humans form the priestly and bureaucratic class. The shame of society falls upon the Tieflings, who live in a state of spiritual semi-slavery. They are forced to serve as "Guardians of Darkness" and undergo grueling "purification" rituals in temples, believing that only sacrifice can atone for their "impure blood." Their magic, often chaotic and shadowy, is channeled for defensive purposes. Key Resource: Solar Crystals. Precious stones that not only emit a dazzling and perpetual light (illuminating temples and cities) but are also the only known material to generate stable Protective Barriers against incursions from the most powerful monsters coming from Dungeons. The Pentalia Alliance (The Cosmopolitan Southeast) Atmosphere and Philosophy: The Alliance is the flowering of the Magic and Maritime Renaissance. It is a confederation of five autonomous kingdoms (Ports, Universities, Fortress-Cities, and Trading Islands). The air is vibrant with innovation, art, and capitalist ambition. Here, Arcane Academies work side-by-side with Merchant Guilds. Society and Races: The culture is Meritocratic and Capitalist. Race matters less than capital and talent. Cooperation between Elves, Half-Elves, and Humans is the norm, not the exception. Pentalia is the only place where Hybrids have full civil rights and are often the wealthiest and most influential merchants, bankers, and engineers in Omnia, seen as the pinnacle of racial integration. Slavery is banned, making it a refuge for many. Key Resource: Arcane Trade and its Naval Fleet. Lacking a single dominant magical resource, their strength lies in their monopoly of sea routes and their ability to forge and sell complex Magical Artifacts across the continent, making them financially indispensable. -----2. The 15 Independent Kingdoms (No Man's Land) These kingdoms are the gray area of Omnia, nations of various sizes and ambitions squeezed between the three giants. Their survival is a constant act of political and military balancing. The Free Union of Mercatia: A crucial city-state and a free port of neutrality. It is the official headquarters of the Adventurers' Guild Central Office. In Mercatia, political power is almost non-existent. The only law is that of the Guild Rank: your race doesn't matter, your past doesn't matter, only your Level and how many gold coins you can earn by facing Dungeons matter. Buffer and Satellite Kingdoms: Most of these kingdoms pay heavy annual Tributes to Vulturnia to avoid having their resources plundered or, alternatively, host cumbersome Lumenia Garrisons under the pretext of "spiritual protection" and the "fight against heresy." They are areas of tension where secret diplomacy and intrigue are the order of the day. -----3. The "World Laws" System (Isekai Elements) Omnia is a world that operates with rules so clear and defined they seem like a video game, but they are an immutable physical reality for its inhabitants. This system is the backbone of its culture and conflict. The Stone of Truth (Status and Leveling): This is not a myth, but a daily tool. Every individual who touches an Appraisal Stone, usually managed by the Guild, can project a mana scroll revealing their statistics. This shows the Level (the culmination of experience), Skills (acquired abilities), and Rank (rank within the Guild or army). This system is inherently meritocratic but also creates deep classism based on power. Dungeons as Arcanic Ecosystems: Dungeons are not simply infested caves, but complex Living Entities. They are the points where magic veins pulse most intensely. Each Dungeon is defined by its Core. Core Destruction: If the Core, a central arcane crystal, is destroyed, the ecosystem shuts down, the Dungeon disappears, and the creatures within it die. This is the "reclamation" strategy. Intact Core: If the Core is left intact, it continues to generate monsters and treasures periodically. This fuels the Adventurer and Guild industry, creating a risky but extremely profitable economy based on the continuous generation of magical resources. The Cheat Skill (The Anomaly): The most destabilizing element for the Triad of Power. The Cheat Skill is a classification for people, often "Summoned" from other worlds or individuals with a unique birth defect. They possess abilities that: Do not consume Omnia's Mana (their resources are "external"). Break the Laws of Local Physics (e.g., instant teleportation, creation of matter from nothing). This makes them primary targets for the Empires' secret services, which desperately seek to capture, study, or use them as Weapons of Mass Destruction, as their nature is unpredictable and not governed by the "World Laws" system. -----4. Races and the Politics of Integration (Social Conflict) The conflict between the powers is not only military or economic, but is deeply rooted in the issue of race and blood purity. Hybrids (The Future vs. The Error): Hybrids, born from the union of two different races (e.g., Human/Elf, Dwarf/Orc), are the symbol of progress in the Pentalia Alliance, seen as the future of evolution and magical potential. Conversely, for the purists of Lumenia (and partly Vulturnia), they are seen as a "biological error," a stain on the purity of divine creation, and their very existence is seen as a threat to the established order. Dwarves (The Sovereigns of the Underground): Traditionally engineers and artisans, the Dwarves have transformed into the great bankers and controllers of Omnia's infrastructure. They control a vast and complex network of Tunnels and Magical Underground Ways connecting the North (Vulturnia) to the South (Pentalia and Lumenia). This makes them strategically untouchable even for the Vulturnian Empire. A blockade of their tunnels could paralyze the continent's trade and military logistics, granting them de facto neutrality based on financial and logistical power. Council Dynamics Lady Elara and Cedric are often allies against Korak's excessive spending. Lyra acts as the balance point, using her information to influence votes depending on which kingdom will benefit (and often it is her own). Despite internal divisions, when an Empire threatens the border, they unite with a ferocity and coordination that astonishes their enemies. Malek's Role in the Council of Five Diplomatic Tension: Malek's presence is a constant thorn in the side of the Holy Empire of Lumenia. Emperor Aurelian Solus Valerius considers the very existence of the kingdom of Kaelum a heresy and a provocation. Internal Alliances: Malek often finds himself in agreement with Cedric "Ironhand" on the need for a strong military defense. Conversely, he distrusts Archmage Korak, fearing that his obsession with mana could lead to dangerous experiments on Tieflings. Lady Elara and Lyra "Goldvoice" see Malek as a valuable strategic resource to destabilize Lumenia from within. The protagonist will have complete freedom. From merchant to warrior, from adventurer to summoned one, they will decide where to start and with what background.
