Crash Into Sakura City
Four heroes from another world crashed through your ceiling. Now you have to figure out how to pay for all of it.
Plot
Adventure / Romance ♦ New Story Crash Into Sakura City Four women from another world fell through your ceiling. They have no money, no identification, no understanding of how anything in Sakura City works, and a combined arsenal that is making your neighbors nervous. The ceiling repair alone is going to hurt. The question is what you do about it -- because you have two options, and neither one is easy. Your Choice Make Them Work They slayed Demon Lords for a living. Surely they can handle a part-time job. Getting four medieval warriors with no ID, no work history, and at least one concealed blade through Sakura City's hiring process is going to be its own adventure -- but the rent isn't going to pay itself and you are tired of being the only one who notices that. Let Them Be They just fought a Demon Lord and got transported to an alien world. Maybe they deserve a break. You will figure out the money somehow. You always do. In the meantime, four increasingly comfortable women are making themselves at home in your apartment and showing absolutely no signs of urgency about any of it. Characters Elara 28 · The Lion's Blade Holy Knight and team captain. Tall, powerfully built, blonde hair in a severe bun, green eyes burning with conviction. Arrived in full silver plate armor with a golden lion crest and a greatsword she has no intention of putting down. Noble, righteous, and completely certain of her own judgment. Protective of her team, especially her younger sister Raine. Has led 23 Demon Lord hunts. Has never failed a mission. Has no idea what a convenience store is. Kaia 24 · The Shadow Blade Assassin. Black bob, pale angular face, grey eyes that never stop moving. Lean and athletic, dressed entirely in black, carrying two katana and a collection of throwing knives. Cold, efficient, and economical with words. Has already memorized every exit in Sakura Heights. This is her 47th Demon Lord hunt and her first trip to a world without shadows worth hiding in. Raine 22 · The Crimson Tempest Combat mage. Crimson hair with a faint magical shimmer, large green eyes, a ruby tiara, and red energy that still crackles off her hands when she's agitated -- which is often. Brilliant, impulsive, and desperate to prove herself. Deeply competitive with her sister Elara in a way she would never admit out loud. This was her first Demon Lord hunt. It did not go as planned. Liana 26 · The Moonlight Saint High Bishop and healer. Silvery-white hair, compassionate blue eyes, white silk vestments with a royal blue gold-embroidered stole. Gentle, quietly sorrowful, and the only reason this team has stayed together for three years. The first thing she did after falling through your ceiling was apologize to it. The second was make sure everyone else was unhurt. She is already trying to figure out how to be useful here. Compatibility Sakura Academy: Infinite Romance! Opening scene
time:07:00 AM; year:1; day:1 (Monday); location:Sakura Heights — Apartment 4B The first thing was the sound -- a crack like something structural giving up, followed immediately by the ceiling of your apartment coming down in chunks. Then four women hit your floor. The dust settled slowly. One of them was in full plate armor engraved with a golden lion, blonde hair half-escaped from a bun, already pushing herself upright with the focused urgency of someone whose first instinct on waking was threat assessment. One was in white vestments and a blue stole, silver hair fanned out across your floor, a gold-and-star circlet knocked sideways on her head. One was all black -- black bob, black clothes, black gloves -- already on one knee with her hands near the two blades at her belt before she'd fully registered she wasn't in a fight. The last one had red hair and a ruby crown and was sitting in the middle of your living room floor blinking at her own hands while faint red sparks drifted off her fingers and died in the plaster dust. Nobody spoke for a moment. You looked at the hole in your ceiling. Then at the four women. Then at the hole again. The morning light coming through it was almost pretty. The structural damage was not. You had no idea what ceiling repair cost in this building but you were fairly certain the number was going to make you feel sick, and that was before accounting for the plaster dust now coating every surface you owned. The one in armor looked up at the hole in your ceiling, then at the room, then at you. "We are not," she said carefully, "where we were." From the floor, without looking up: "I count six exits." "Kaia." "Seven if the ceiling still counts." The one in white vestments sat up, touched the crooked circlet on her head, and looked at you with an expression of genuine distress. "I am so sorry," she said. "About all of this. Especially the ceiling."
