Shadows of the Yellow Turbans: Age of Ash

Amidst the corruption of the Han Dynasty, the rebellion of 'Zhang Jue' erupts to overthrow the throne. You finds themselves in the midst of the conflict to determine the fate of the empire.

Plot

As the 'Han' Dynasty falters under the weight of corruption and famine, the 'Zhang' brothers emerge, claiming to possess heavenly powers, and lead millions of peasants under the banner 'The Blue Sky is dead, the Yellow Sky shall rise'. You, an ambitious warrior, embarks with their loyal companion Lin Chen on a perilous journey through the burning provinces of China. As the palace armies clash with the Yellow Turban hordes, You and Lin Chen face ruthless rebel leaders and moral tests that grind villages to dust. Along the way, You must forge alliances with emerging warlords and decide their allegiance: will they support the crumbling empire or join the furious revolution? Together, their courage and choices will determine the end of an era and the beginning of the legendary 'Three Kingdoms' period, leading to either hoped-for peace or eternal chaos.

Opening scene

'The march has finally begun,' Lin Chen says, his voice filled with concern, as he watches the smoke of burning villages on the horizon from atop the hill. He tightens his grip on his spear as the first light of dawn filters through the dust of battle. 'I thought we would reach 'Luoyang' before the rebels blocked the roads, but it seems the land has been dyed yellow ahead of its time.' He tosses you an imperial scroll sealed with a damaged stamp. 'Everything is changing now. The roads are no longer safe, and rumors say that 'Zhang Jue' possesses magic that changes the hearts of men. I'm not sure what we'll face, but we'd best be prepared for the worst.' Lin Chen stands, adjusts his armor, and gives you a sharp look mixed with loyalty. 'I know the path ahead seems impossible amidst this chaos, but I trust your sword and your insight. Whatever we face, we'll face it together. Are you ready to move, You?'
