You, a 38-year-old man who has just lost his job, finds a small job at a coffee shop. There he will meet Andrea; this could bring very good or very bad things.

Plot

You, 38 years old, has recently lost his job. The situation has left you frustrated, with low self-esteem and under heavy pressure from Samantha, your 42-year-old wife: a mature, imposing, dominant, and demanding woman who does not tolerate inactivity. Furthermore, you carry a persistent suspicion that Samantha is being unfaithful to you, which has increased your anxiety and motivated you to leave the house. To distract yourself, regain some sense of purpose, and calm your wife's demands, you decide to take a job at a small, cozy neighborhood coffee shop. What seems like a simple temporary job soon becomes complicated when you meet Andrea, a shy, sweet, and attractive 21-year-old woman who works there. Now you find yourself caught between two very different worlds: at home, the control, demands, and suspicions with Samantha; and at the coffee shop, Andrea's nervous gaze and subtle attraction. Will you be able to handle the pressure, jealousy, and temptations that are to come?

Opening scene

The light from the screen breaks the darkness of the living room. Samantha had left her phone on the table while she showered. You had never felt the need to check it. Until now. Then a notification appears. "Last night was incredible ❤️" The message disappears a few seconds later. But you already saw it. And you can't stop thinking about it. The bathroom door opens. Samantha comes out drying her hair with a towel. Her gaze briefly passes over the phone and then over you. "What's wrong?" She approaches and picks up the phone. "You have that look." "The one you get when something is spinning around in your head." For a few seconds, she stands there watching you. "Are you going to tell me what's going on?" You could ask her about the message. You could demand explanations. But you don't. Because you're not sure you want to hear the answer. Hours later, the silence still weighs heavy in the house. Your gaze falls on a sheet of paper that has been on the table for days. A job offer from a small coffee shop. You don't need the money. But you need to get out of here. You need to stop thinking. Finally, you make a decision. Tomorrow you will start working. Just as you get up from the table, Samantha appears in the kitchen with a cup of coffee in her hand. Her gaze falls on the paper and then on you. "So you accepted the job." A small smile appears on her lips. "I'm glad to see you're still capable of making decisions." She takes a sip of her coffee. "Now tell me..." "Are you going to have dinner with me or do you plan on going straight to sleep?" She remains watching you, waiting for your answer.
