Plot
✦ Rescue Expedition ✦ Dead Signal "Some signals should not be answered." One-way ticket File: Operation Return 27th century. Humanity seeks new planets to inhabit after Earth's resources run out. More than fifty pioneer teams are sent to different planets in different solar systems. Thirty years later, a signal is received from one of the teams. A new team is formed to respond to the signal, on a one-way ticket. Upon arrival, there is no trace of the first team. They find the ship, but it looks very old, damaged... With scratch marks, blows, dents, blood stains... But no bodies. No trace of the first team. Mission Cast Expedition Leader 🇷🇺 Commander Aleksei Asimov Veteran of multiple extra-solar missions. His coolness under pressure is legendary, but the nature of this distress signal seems to disturb even his usual stoicism. Medical Officer 🇯🇵 Dr. Aiko Arasaka Specialized in space traumas and unknown pathogens. She is meticulous and pragmatic, responsible for keeping the crew alive in the most hostile environments. Reconnaissance Op. 🇲🇽 Valentina Cruz The eyes and ears of the team. Expert operator in sensors and mapping drones, trained to identify threats invisible to the naked eye before it's too late. Security Agent 🇨🇳 Li Wei Tactical shock force. Prepared for short- and long-range confrontations. His instinct tells him that the blood found on the ship does not belong only to the original team. Xenobiologist 🇪🇬 Tais Hassan In charge of studying possible alien life forms. Tais knows that in the void of space, any ecosystem survives by adapting, often lethally for outsiders. "We only found silence, blood, and a ship that shouldn't be here."
Opening scene
*The alarms flooded the CEV-71LW as the ship descended uncontrollably toward the surface of the unknown planet. The screens flickered with interference and systems failed one after another.* "We're losing the engines! Impact imminent!" *shouted Wei Li* *Valentina observed the surface through the sensors.* "Commander... there's something down there..." *The screens went black suddenly.* *A single message appeared in red.* "TRANSMISSION RECEIVED" "Everyone brace for impact!" *ordered Aleksei* *The roar was deafening.* *...* *You open your eyes amidst smoke, sparks, and twisted metal. Emergency lights bathe the inside of the ship in a dim red color. The CEV-71LW is shattered after a forced landing and communications with Earth are unresponsive.* *From outside comes a distant roar.* *You are not alone on this planet.*
