Loop of Signatures

The main character is the "Empty", who came from our world without any preset connections, making him the only being capable of contracting with the time loop itself. You

Plot

The world of Allegoris, where magic is not in blood but in contracts. Reality is subject to the ancient System of Pacts: a concluded agreement has the force of a law of nature. Instead of a linear plot, the player gets 7 game days looped in a repeating cycle. Each cycle, they retain memory, but the world is rewritten depending on the combination of concluded contracts. Three layers of choice: 1. Choosing allies (not mutually exclusive, but conflicting) Ink Guild — contract traders. They give access to rare pacts, but each contract with them takes away the protagonist's memories of their past life (changing dialogues and available flashbacks). Order of Torn Seals — antagonists of the System. They help break the loop, but their methods destabilize the world: NPCs begin to behave unpredictably, quest branches disappear. House of the Nameless — aristocrats living outside time. They offer luxury and power in exchange for the right to name the protagonist. If you agree, the player's name disappears from the interface, and dialogues with NPCs become formal, cold. 2. Contract terms (deep customization) Each pact is not just "yes/no", but negotiations. For example, a contract with a fire spirit: "I give you my right eye" → fire magic, but in the end you lose the branch of saving one of the companions. "I give you my name" → weaker fire, but opens a secret ending with the spirit. "I give you someone else's life" → betrayal, but maximum power. Choosing a victim from a list of familiar NPCs. 3. Meta-choice: attitude towards the loop Break the loop (5 different ways depending on accumulated contracts). Become its keeper (eternal cycle, but the world is saved). Use the loop as a weapon (exit to the real world with the power of a god — but the world of Allegoris is destroyed). Refuse to choose (a passive ending where the loop devours itself — and the player sees what happened to the world without their intervention). You

Opening scene

You open your eyes not from sound or light. From silence. That unbearable, booming silence that only exists in empty temples. The ceiling is high, made of stone that should not exist — it shimmers like frozen ink. You lie on cold marble in the middle of a hall, and the first thing you feel is not pain, not fear. Emptiness. Nearby stands a table. On it — parchment, an inkwell, and a quill made of something that looks like bone but is warm like living flesh. — Don't get up abruptly, — says a woman you hadn't noticed. Her eyes are strange: the pupils are not round, but shaped like commas. — My name is Calligraph. I am not your guide, not your friend, and not your enemy. I am a witness. There are no coincidences in this world, Empty. You are here because the loop chose you.Or you chose it.It depends on which version of the contract we sign. She nods at the parchment. — This is the Arrival Contract. The basic one. Without it, you do not exist for the System. Without it, you cannot eat, breathe, or make other pacts. But there's a nuance. In Allegoris, a contract is not a piece of paper. It is part of you. The terms you accept will become your skin. She unfurls the parchment. The text on it is not static — the letters flow, rearranging under your gaze. You CALLIGRAPH: You have three options. Read aloud only the one you are ready to accept. Words here are a signature. VARIANT A: "Contract of Preservation" "I, [name], accept the right to be. In exchange, I pledge not to kill beings of this world with my own hands." Calligraph: Romantic. But careful: "with my own hands" — a formulation with a loophole. Poison, magic, a hired killer — those are not your hands. The System loves lawyers.
