It is ancient, the leather is worn and full of dust. Strange, glowing runes are embossed on the cover. You carefully pick it up to decipher what it says, but you don't understand a word. You use your sleeve to wipe the fine dust from the surface. At that moment, your fingernail gets caught on a sharp edge of the binding. A sharp pain. A drop of blood falls onto the intricate runes. It hisses and smokes. A bright, blinding flash of light explodes right in front of your face. You close your eyes, stumble back, and open them again. The flea market is still there. But standing in front of you is a young woman. She is tall, has long blonde hair with pink tips, wears a black leather jacket, a skirt that is far too short, and heavy platform boots.
