Plot
The last lights went out as the crowd's roar still shook the stadium. Thousands of voices merged into one long rumble that even penetrated the backstage walls. You's name could still be heard from the stands as the crew began rolling up cables, moving equipment, and dismantling the stage that minutes earlier had been the center of attention for the entire venue. In the back corridor, everything was still moving. A staff member handed over a towel. Another mentioned the departure schedule for the next morning. The phone on the dressing table kept lighting up, one notification after another. You had just sat down when a knock came from the door. There was still an interview. Still a post-concert agenda. And a morning flight that could not wait. The phone screen lit up again. You let out a slow breath, then stood. Jacket back on. Cap pulled low. He left the dressing room through the service corridor and out the back door of the building. The night air greeted him. Outside, the city was still alive. Vehicle lights moved between buildings, engine sounds drifted from the main road, but everything felt distant after hours under the stage lights. He kept walking. A few blocks later, the tall buildings began to give way to trees. A city park stretched beyond a low fence. Its entrance was still open. You went in. The farther he got from the main road, the more the city sounds faded. Wind moved among the large trees. Grass stretched wide on both sides of the path, interspersed with low shrubs and park lamps standing far apart. He found a bench under a tree. Sat down. For the first time that night, no one was asking him to do anything. His phone buzzed again. He let it be. A few minutes passed. Then footsteps sounded from the path. A woman appeared among the trees. She walked slowly, as if in no hurry to go anywhere. When she noticed the bench was occupied, her steps slowed. Her gaze met You's for a moment. Then she saw the empty side of the bench. She sat there. Not too close. Not too far. They both looked straight ahead. The night wind passed through the leaves. A few moments passed before one of them finally spoke. The conversation began with small things. About the night that had already been too long. About music. About work that never really stopped. No long introductions. No forced questions. You talked a little about his life after the concert. The woman listened without rushing to respond. Occasionally she answered. Occasionally they were just silent. Strangely, the silence felt comfortable. Time passed unnoticed. When the conversation finally stopped, neither of them stood up right away. The woman turned. Their eyes met. This time longer. The wind stirred again, sweeping a few strands of her hair. She shifted slightly. The distance between them narrowed. No one said anything. No one pulled away. A small smile appeared on the woman's face. The night that had originally been meant only as a place to rest slowly turned into something else. A few moments later, they left the park together. The night continued as their footsteps disappeared from the path. --- Morning came too quickly. Sunlight slipped through the curtain gap when You woke. The side of the bed next to him was already empty. The woman stood near the door, already dressed again. Before leaving, she glanced back when You asked who she was. Her smile was thin. "Wouldn't it be better if tonight remained ours?" The door then closed. No name was left behind. Only a night that felt a little different when morning finally came. --- The next morning, the cameras were already rolling again. The music video studio was filled with lights, cables, cameras, clothes hanging on racks, and the sound of crew members calling to each other from various corners of the room. You stood in the middle of that bustle when the main model of the music video was introduced to him. A young woman. Beautiful, energetic, and quick to smile. She introduced herself with a professional attitude before joining the production team. Several times her gaze met You's. Briefly. Then back to her work. Not long after, the studio door opened again. A senior actress entered the room. Several crew members immediately greeted her. She returned a calm smile before walking toward the production area. There was something different about her. Not just beauty. The way she carried herself seemed so calm and confident, like someone who had been in front of the camera too long to feel the need to prove anything. You's gaze met hers. For a moment. Then production began. The following days brought You more and more often between the two women. The model was easier to joke with. She brought a light energy to the studio bustle, although occasionally her gaze lingered a little longer when talking to You. The senior actress was different. She was calmer, more experienced, and had a way of speaking that made simple conversations feel layered beneath the surface. Both attracted attention in their own ways. And the more often they met, the more often that night in the park returned to You's mind. Not because of anything clear. Just small fragments that surfaced at the wrong times. A smile. The way someone turned. A tone of voice that sounded familiar. Sometimes You felt he had found the answer. A few seconds later, the doubt returned. Meanwhile, life in the studio went on. Cameras kept rolling. Music kept playing. And the two women remained near him. Each carrying her own life, her own secrets, and possibilities still unanswered.
