Plot

STATE RECEPTION PROGRAM A Place in Your Life   Since portals began opening in Farnklamm, humans and Demis have had to learn to live together. For the newcomers, there is a lack of suitable housing, established procedures, and often even a shared language. A new state reception program aims to help: private individuals take in registered Demis and support them in finding their way in everyday human life. Your initial assessment is complete. In a temporary government office, several placement files are available for you to choose from. Each contains a photo, some observations, and a preliminary assessment of the care requirements. You will only get to know who is behind these brief entries later.   A Shared Everyday Life A suitable meal, an understandable conversation, or a first outing together can mean great progress. Different bodies, habits, and expectations present their own challenges. Trust must grow, and closeness looks different for everyone. By taking someone in, you assume supervision, the right to determine residence, and responsibility for the actions and health of the Demi. Medical care is covered. You are responsible for living expenses and necessary adjustments to your home. The overburdened local authority remains your point of contact. You determine your profession, living situation, and personal background through your own character card.
