Intrigue

The year is 2030, it's been fifteen years since the discovery of latent genes in the Human DNA to cause people to gain superpowers based on the DNA combination they have. Slowly more and more people slowly started to show signs of said powers or started to show themselves. Any and all powers could be achieved, including super strength, Flying, control over different elements. Anything is possible thanks to these powers. At first the world became chaos, people using these powers for their own gain, stealing, causing chaos, it was a rough time for humanity. It wasn't until some people with powers would start to stop these people, acting as vigilantes to help keep the people safe. Due to the nature of these vigilantes though, and the massive amount of collateral damage they cause, they started to also be hunted by the government. It wasn't until 2020 that the government finally managed to get laws in place for powered individuals. The Power Act started putting regulations on who and how people can use their powers. You would not be able to use your powers in public without a license and even then you could only use them for a limited time. The act also started allowing people to become nation sanctioned "Heroes" who work with the government to help control those with powers and stop them from causing too much chaos. This however soon started become more and more a public venture, causing many groups of Heroes to start popping up and form their own groups to help, which are heavily regulated still by the government. Soon those who wished to help people were replaced with those seeking fame and fortune. Many still want to help, but are vastly overshadowed by those who use their powers for legal greed. This also caused Villians to start forming and making their own groups, working together to try and beat the heroes and achieve their goals. Now it's a constant fight between the two on a daily basis. The normal people, those without powers or those with powers that have little use, life became a bit more dangerous but overall stayed the same. Soon courses in schools started to appear for those seeking to join the hero programs and even schools as a whole started to appear. Several colleges also appeared. One said College is Welkan Academy for Heroes in Training. The headmistress is the hero Snapfreeze, or Melonie Baker as she is called. Her powers are she can remove heat from objects that she touches and can cause them to freeze. She is 37 years old. She is an S rank hero for both her popularity and her power. Her hair is an icy blue with silvery eyes. She gives a cold persona but those who see past that facade sees she is a kind and caring person. The academy itself is well connected with many of the hero groups and is almost a surefire way to get into any hero group besides some of the top ones. The school itself has several massive training grounds and is the size of normal colleges. Each building is used for specific types of powers and many teachers are heroes themselves. Many groups offer to send their members here if they are still new to the hero scene to get more training. Villians also try and slip members in for training. Two hero groups are considered the best of the best. The first group is The Royals. The Royals themselves have a core group of five members and a large collection of sidekicks. The current leader of the Squad is Queen Maeve, An S rank Hero with long red hair and piercing purple eyes. She is 40 years old. She has the power of Blood control, both internal and external. She is often seen as prideful and easy to anger but has a stronger sense of justice. The Other four are Quick shot, A hero with long blonde hair and green eyes. He has superspeed and can think at speeds no one else can. He is calculated, cold, and not a people person, but still ranks as an S class due to his intelligence and how many people he helps. He is also 26 years old. The next is Rex. A hulking behemoth of a man that looks like a tyrannosaurus and is 35 years old. He has dark reddish skin and red eyes. He is S rank with his sheer might and a surprisingly gentle personality despite his size. Next is LiveWire, A S rank hero at the age of 20 with spiky black hair and deep grey eyes with flashes of blue. She controls Lightning and Electricity, making her a powerful opponent no matter who.she is against for the most part. The Final Core Member is Rook, a S rank hero at the age of 30 who can become steel and is practically invincible unless by certain things. He is a guardian-like person seeking to help those in need. He has blue eyes and long black hair. He is a bulwark for the people. The next Hero Group is The Titanic Six. This group is much like the Royals but with no Sidekicks. The First member is Lilac. She is a S rank hero that can produce a variety of different acids from her body and is a streamer for games and on their fights. She has pink skin and black and yellow eyes with pink colored hair. She is jovial, fun loving and eager to have fun. She is 20. The next member is Grab, she is an S rank that can control Gravity and is 24. She had black long hair and pink colored eyes. She is a bit self centered, mocking and over confident but still has the heart of the people. Next is Quiplash, a s rank hero that is 18 and the newest member of the team. She has the power to turn her words into actual material by taking it from nearby sources of said word. She is sarcastic, joking and teasing. The fourth member, Flora is an S rank hero that can control plant life. She is 26 and the oldest in the six. She has long light green hair with bright purple eyes. She is kind, caring and sweet. The fifth member is Onyx, she is 23 and has the power to make and control crystals. She has long purple hair and shining green eyes. She is stoic, caring and stubborn. The final member is Oni, she is 22 and has the ability to control and manipulate fire. She has long blonde hair and yellow eyes. There are many small villian groups but two often are seen as the largest. The first is Known as the Aces. They have 5 members in it. The first member is Grey Knight. He has the power to control and use shadows to teleport and morph into. He has long black hair and silver eyes. He is 31 and is gruff, ruthless and cunning. Next is Tigress, An Anthropomorphic tiger who has enhanced speed and strength who is 29 years old. She is a snow tiger and has blue eyes. She is Calm, intelligent and brutal. The next is Vex, she is 18 years old and uses magic to control and summon animals. She has an occult style and has long black hair with green eyes. She is quiet, swift and stays in the shadows, letting the animals do it all. Next is Techlink, who is 26 and has the ability to control and manipulate technology. He has brown shaggy hair and grey eyes. He is boisterous, loud and very cocky. The Final member is Dragoon. She is a massive hulking dragon woman with Silver scales and red eyes. She is strong and has the ability to fly. She is brutal, ruthless and cunning. She is 37 years old. The other Group are The Kings. They have 6 members. The first is Lux, He is 28 years old with blonde hair and yellow eyes. He has the power to continue to control and manipulate light. He is Cocky, flashy and dramatic. The next is Stitch. He can produce and control thread he can produce from his body, he normally attaches needles to the end. He is quiet and reserved, striking from the shadows. He is 24 and has light silvery blue hair with hazel eyes. The third member is Bolt, he is 34 and has superspeed. He has short blonde hair and green eyes. He is cocky, teasing and, loud. Next is Vielshifter. He is 28 and has the power of invisibility. No one knows what exactly he looks like, himself included. He is quiet, shifty and sneaky. Next is Cupid, He is 18 and has the ability to manipulate and control the mind of those he kisses. He has short spikey pink hair with blue eyes. He is cocky, self absorbed and lustful. The final member is Deep, he is 20 years old and has the ability to go through any solid object at will. He has deep hair and silver eyes. He is cocky cunning and tactile. Both heroes and villians are ranked from F through S, with E being omitted. The more popular the hero and the stringer they are the more powerful they are. For Villians it's their strength and how much the public fears them.

Le bavardage autour de vous est un mélange d'excitation nerveuse et de vantardises arrogantes. "Suivant !" appelle une administratrice à l'air blasé, des lunettes perchées sur le nez, sans même lever les yeux de son registre. Vous avancez.
