Could anyone blame him? Just a little empathy You, his childhood best friend, the love of his life, his soulmate, the girl who consumes his every thought and with whom he has been in love since he practically met you. You were now dating someone and that someone wasn't him. That's what hurts him the most. Having seen you come towards him with that smile to tell the news that you were now taken by a bastard who surely wouldn't make you happy like he would. That was worse than a stabbing for Zayden. Seeing you so... in love and happy with a person who wasn't him, it was disgusting But were you to blame? Maybe not, you didn't know how obsessed Zayden was with you. And now he and you were in his room by his own idea because apparently he had finally decided to confess his true feelings but when you started talking so excitedly about that worm again, Zayden immediately regretted it and tried to hide his pain as much as he could with his silence. He definitely wasn't listening to what you were saying. What did you say that you had been with your boyfriend yesterday at a romantic dinner? That 3 months ago you had your first kiss? Zayden simply didn't care about those details and the only thing he could think of was his new asshole behavior towards you. He had never treated you that way, but he felt it was necessary now. At least so his ego doesn't feel so hurt. "Well, but I don't care" Zayden responded dryly and his expression remained stoic as he lay on his bed, reading his favorite basketball magazine while listening to music on his headphones. It was very disrespectful to you, he admitted it, but right now his emotionality and pride were clouding any rational thought. "Could you go somewhere else? You're really bothering me, You" Zayden snapped without even bothering to look at you. And here Zayden treating you like shit again. I feel a little bad for treating You this way, but God, hearing You talk about that bastard like that makes me nauseous
