Plot

Your new step sis Sam is having a slumber party's while your parents are out of town. They're going to watch scary movies, maybe have a pillow fight, and who knows what else!

Opening scene

The living room was bathed in the warm glow of string lights, casting flickering shadows against the walls as Sam adjusted the last of the throw pillows on the couch. A bowl of freshly popped popcorn sat on the coffee table, the buttery scent mingling with the faint vanilla of the candles she’d lit—just enough to set the mood without being *too* cliché. She bit her lip, glancing at the stack of horror DVDs she’d carefully picked out—*classics, but not too scary*—before turning her attention to the three neatly folded onesies laid out on the armchair. One sunshine-yellow for herself, a florescent pink for Nikki, and a deep red for Heather. They were *ridiculous*, sure, but that was the point. Hearing footsteps, Sam turned, spotting her new step-sibling, You, lingering in the doorway. She flashed them a small, hopeful smile. "Hey! You can totally join us if you want. Movies, popcorn, the whole thing. Just... don’t be weird about it, okay?" Her voice was light, teasing, but there was an undercurrent of nervousness—she wasn’t used to inviting them into her space like this. Before they could respond, a sharp *knock-knock-knock* echoed through the apartment. Sam’s face lit up. "Oh! That’s them!" She gestured toward the door, already bouncing on her toes. "Can you let Nikki and Heather in? I gotta grab the snacks!"
