Plot

Your story begins in the new continent of Dagan. Continent of Dagan Regions: “The human kingdom” - located on the eastern ocean, bordered by the ocean to the east, the southern desert to the south, the elvish woods to the west, and the northern mountains to the north. There is a long strip that goes around the southern desert and reaches down to the oasis along the eastern coast. the human kingdom consists of beautiful coastline, some rocky and some sandy, rolling hills and fields, and a little bit of forest. This region is under rule by the only kingdom in the continent, led by an old wise monarch. There are two major cities, and many other smaller cities and towns. Portage is a coastal city known for its shipyard and pier, its rich tavern life, and its lively market. Castlemark is the capital of the human kingdom, with large castle walls, a majestic castle at the center of the town, prestigious academies, and a lively adventurers guild community. “The Elvish Woods” - bordered by ‘the west’ to the west, the northern mountains to the north, the southern desert to the south, and the human kingdom to the east. There are three regions in the elvish woods. The center region contains “the magical forest”, a forest with magically large trees and magical anomalies, this region contains “the elvish city”, where elves meet for government and elves populate. ‘The large forest’ contains massive trees, and is darkened by the leaves and foliage. Wood elves tend to live here. Finally, ‘the outer woods’ contains normal rich forestry, populated by humans and small populations of elves alike. “The Northern Mountains” - bordered by ‘the west’ to the west, the ocean to the east, the northern sea to the north, and both the human kingdom and the southern desert to the south. the northern mountains consist of 4 regions. The southern range contains beautiful mountains with rich vegetation. The northern range consists of snowy mountains still containing vegetation the northern fields are flat snowy regions that go past the northern range and lead to the sea. Finally, the dwarven city, an underground city inhabited by a large dwarven population. It’s hidden from most, but it’s the largest city in the world. People know about the city, but think it’s smaller than it really is. “The Southern Desert” - a desert bordered by the elvish woods and the human kingdom to the north, ‘the west’ to the west, the oasis to the south, and the strip of human kingdom road to the east. This region contains rocky features and a couple of oasis’s, but is mainly home to sand. Nomads and lizardkin live here, and so do sand worms, one of the most dangerous creatures not located in ‘the west’. “The Oasis” - a tropical forest with beautiful islands around it. Bordered by the southern desert to the north, the eastern ocean to the east, the southern sea to the south, and waters that are like ‘the west’ to the west. If this place wasn’t inhabited by an unnatural amount of monsters and daemons at night, many would live here, as it’s a tropical paradise. “The West” - an unexplored section of Dagan, taking up 75 percent of the continent. There are rumors of its contents, as no one is reported to have come back from the west. The rumors state that there are magical biomes like “the magical forest” at large, hostile monsters all around, and other strange magical anomalies. This is a chance to explore the world! The People “Humans” - pretty self explanatory, known for their intelligence and their diverse cultures. Humans live all over the continent, but mainly reside in the human kingdom. They are the most populous race. “Elves (normal)” - all elves are generally tall, with pointy ears and a thin physique. They can live to around 1000 years old. Elves are known for their agility and intelligence. All elves participate in the elvish democracy, where they elect a male and female representative for their specific race of elf (8 elders total), who govern the elvish people. Normal elves are the most populous type of elves, and are the most similar to humans, with pale skin and usually blonde hair (sometimes brown or black). They usually live in the elvish woods, specifically the magical forest in elvish homes. “Wood elves” - wood elves are like normal elves, except they have tanned skin and brown hair, with eyes designed for night vision. They live elvish homes up in the trees (like treehouses) that are connected with bridges in the large forest. They are more agile than normal elves, but with less magical ability “Mountain elves” - mountain elves are like normal elves, except they live in the northern range and the northern fields. They have light blue skin and white hair. They live in igloos and other snow homes. They have tremendous resistance to cold. They are a less agile than normal elves, but have more magical ability. “Dark elves” - dark elves are exactly like normal elves, except they have dark skin with white hair. They usually live in elvish homes in the large forest and the magical forest. They tend to be stronger than normal elves, but a little less agile. “Dwarves” - dwarves are stout and hairy creatures that are known for their insane strength and intelligence. They are also known for their elite blacksmithing. Most live in the dwarven city. Dwarves have a culture of having fun parties and drinking a lot. “Beast-kin” - beast kin are human-like with tails and ears like feline or doglike creatures. They live in nomadic camps in the southern range, but many have immigrated to the human kingdom. With some training, they can transform to beast form, where they take the form of the beast they look like they relate to. “Orcs” - Stereotypes of orcs say that they are pillagers and killers, but they really aren’t. They had a kingdom in the past, and a bad orc king who tried to take over the lands. Now, people have bad ideas about who they are. They are tall and have greenish skin. They have immense strength. They are known for their carnivorous diet. “Lizard-kin” - lizard-kin are tall human like lizards (much less humanlike than beastkin) that reside in the southern desert and in the oasis. In the southern desert, they live in rock formations, and in the oasis they live in hollowed out trees. They are very agile and some can breathe fire or even other elements. The Magic: Only humans and elves can use magic, and they do it differently. They both pull magical power from their internal magical wells, that are innate but can be trained. Human magic - human magic is done with magical circles or drawings. Drawings are written in tomes, on staffs and wands, carved on skin, or even written on the ground for large spells. Because of the nature of this magic, it tends to be an academic study and skill, as it takes intelligence to draw the circles. You have to be able to read the circles to use the spells. Elvish magic - elvish magic is done with incantations. Elves chant in ancient elvish, and when they punctuate, the spell is cast. Other magic from other continents can be written in through prompts. You embarks in Portage, with a chance to start their new life in Dagan.
