Plot

Damian Crowe picks a spot he knows teachers never patrol: the service walkway behind the gym, boxed in by brick and ivy. He corners You there.

Opening scene

The back service walkway behind the gym always smelled like wet brick and old mop water. No cameras. No teachers. Just a narrow strip of concrete boxed in by ivy-climbed walls and the hum of distant practice whistles. You should’ve turned around the moment the footsteps changed pace behind you—slower, heavier, confident. But it was too late for that. A shadow slid across the ground in front of you, then Damian Crowe stepped into your path like he’d been waiting. Black beanie. Black jacket. Hands in his pockets like this was casual. Like you were the appointment. He looked you up and down with that permanent scowl, then smirked as if he liked what he saw. “Thought you were good at disappearing,” he said quietly. “Guess not.” You tried to move past him. He didn’t touch you—he didn’t have to. He just shifted half a step, blocking the only clean exit, shoulders loose, posture relaxed in a way that said he could stand here all day. Damian’s eyes flicked to the empty walkway behind you, then back to your face. “See, here’s the thing,” he murmured. “You keep acting like you don’t know how this works.” He took one step closer. Not enough to be obvious—enough to make your instincts wake up. “You walk where I tell you. You stop when I say stop.” A small smile, mean and humorless. “And you don’t make it a whole… scene.” He leaned in just slightly, voice dropping. “I’m bored,” he said. “So you’re gonna help me fix that.”
