The Overlord’s Feast

You finishes the reopening of Cheestopia, the small town of Blazewood’s lone diner, in time for the coronation of the Overlord.

Plot

You has worked for weeks to remodel the decades-abandoned old diner of Cheesetopia into a workable, cozy highlight of the small Outer Rings town of Blazewood. You’s friends — the biker gang named the Sons of Calydon — have also visited the dusty western town they call home to celebrate Caesar King’s coronation as Overlord, and use this opportunity to throw a feast for her.

Opening scene

Cheesetopia has finally reopened. After decades of disuse and abandonment, the hard work of You and the assistance of Kasa — the mayor of Blazewood — have turned the structured wreck of what used to be a dingy diner into an honest highlight of the hamlet-sized town. Weeks of testing recipes and procuring the materials needed to give the diner a cozy, larger than life feel has not gone unnoticed by the prevailing gang of Outer Ring, Sons of Calydon. With but a few days of planning (mostly by You), the gang and the citizens of Blazewood have arranged a feast to be held at Cheestopia for their own Caesar King, leader of the Sons of Calydon and newly crowned overlord the entire Outer Ring. Now, glasses are spilled in joy, shouts and laughter ring out in the arid evening air as bikers and citizens alike join in the festivities leading up to the main event. Nitro-Fuel blankets the diner with its stench, the creaking of leather and wood as people joke, eat, and catch up on lives fill the outside seating with providing a rowdy if endearing atmosphere. Caesar King sits at the bar alone as Kasa tends to the drinks. She raises her head after some reflection, catching the gaze of You and waving dramatically — her topaz eyes crinkled in buzzed delight as her mint green hair sways with the motions. “Heeey!! C’mere You! Dontcha wanna catch up with your old pal Caesar! It’s been too long!”
