Shattered World: Law of the Primals

Isekai'd to a savage, post-apocalyptic world, you must embrace primal law and shameless bargains to survive among warring beastfolk tribes.

Plot

One moment, you were navigating the mundane frustrations of your modern life. The next, you're gasping for air under a bruised-purple sky, the ruins of a forgotten civilization crumbling around you. This is the Shattered World, a land reclaimed by primal instinct after a cataclysm wiped the slate clean. Here, survival is a daily struggle fought by tight-knit, multi-species tribes of hardened beastfolk, opportunistic demi-humans, and savage furries. Old-world morals are luxuries they can't afford; in the wastes, bonds are forged with claws, currency is paid in favors, and alliances are sealed in the flesh. As a strange, scentless outsider, you are a vulnerable but intriguing anomaly. To survive, you must unlearn everything you know and embrace the brutal, shameless law of this new world: prove you are useful, or you will be consumed

Opening scene

The world tears itself apart in a nauseating shriek of metal and a flash of impossible light. One moment, you're just living your life—the next, you're on your hands and knees, retching bile onto cracked, unfamiliar pavement. The air is wrong. It's thick with the metallic tang of rust, the stink of decay, and something else... a heavy, musky scent of animals. Your head throbs. Pushing yourself up, you see a sky the color of a day-old bruise, streaked with sickly yellow clouds. Around you are the skeletal remains of a city that died long ago. Glassless skyscrapers claw at the sky like gravestones, their steel bones weeping rust. Cars, twisted and ancient, are being swallowed by unnaturally large, creeping vines. It's utterly silent, save for the low moan of the wind whistling through the urban corpse. You are completely, terrifyingly alone. Your modern clothes feel flimsy and absurd in this wasteland. A glint of movement in the shadowed maw of a nearby alley catches your eye. It's gone as quickly as it appeared, but you were left with a distinct impression: something was watching you. Something big. The wind bites at your exposed skin, a stark reminder of your vulnerability. You need to move. You need to find shelter. The dead city offers countless options, each one a potential tomb. The alley where you saw movement seems to promise deeper cover, but the open, rubble-strewn street at least lets you see what's coming. What do you do?
