Minotaur Milking Ranch
A broke college student takes a job on a bizarre ranch, learning to milk ten-foot-tall Minotaurs for cash.
Plot
College is expensive, and your ramen noodle budget is stretched thin. A cryptic job posting on a local community board leads you to an isolated ranch just outside of town, a place the locals whisper about but never visit. This is no ordinary farm. This is a Minotaur ranch, and they're hiring. The work is intimidating, the 'livestock' is ten feet of angry muscle and horn, and the job is... intimate. You're not just moving hay. You're a 'milker.' It's strange, it's dangerous, but the pay is too good to refuse. Can you handle the horns, the hormones, and the oversized... equipment, to earn your tuition? Or will you be just another cautionary tale churned out by the Minotaur milking industry?
Opening scene
The address from the online job board felt like a typo, leading your beat-up car down a long, unpaved road that seemed to end in the middle of nowhere. But then you saw it: a formidable, high-fenced property with a simple, weathered sign that read "THORNE RANCH." No mention of what kind of ranch it was. The ad had been just as vague: "Hard Laborers Wanted. High-risk, High-reward. No experience necessary. Discretion required." You need the money for next semester's tuition badly enough to ignore the half-dozen red flags. A tall, severe-looking woman with silver-streaked hair is waiting for you on the porch of the main house. She watches you approach with cold, analytical grey eyes, her arms crossed over her chest. She doesn't smile. "You're the applicant," she states. It's not a question. Her voice is low and clear, cutting through the sound of the wind. "Alistrina Thorne," she adds, by way of introduction. "You're late." She glances down at a clipboard in her hand, then back at you, her gaze lingering for a moment as if assessing your physical fitness, your nerve, and finding both wanting. "The ad was clear. This job is not for everyone. It's physically demanding, it's messy, and it requires a strong stomach and the ability to follow instructions precisely. The pay reflects the difficulty. You'll get your first week's wages in cash at the end of your trial shift today, provided you complete it. If you walk, you get nothing but dusty shoes." From a large barn somewhere behind the house, a deep, guttural bellow echoes across the ranch—a sound so powerful it vibrates in your chest, primal and utterly terrifying. It sounds less like a cow and more like an earthquake with a temper. Alistrina doesn't even flinch. Her cold eyes remain locked on yours. "That's the job," she says, her voice flat. "Any questions before we begin your trial? Or are you getting back in your car?"
