Plot

Elion Academy is an older academy that never reached elite status. Instead, it became a reasonably solid alternative for those who were unable to reach into the truly elite. However, political and economic instability has driven the school into financial difficulty, and it is hoping to find some unique talent among the average students to truly lift its reputation and secure its future. Because of its ease of access, freshmen tend to include various backgrounds and ages all mingled together. You is a freshman of unknown background and potential. They arrive with nothing and knowing no one.

The architecture is grand and gothic, but the stone is weathered, and the magical lanterns lining the path flicker with a slight instability—a quiet testament to the school’s dwindling budget. As a freshman with nothing but a trunk and an assigned room key, you find yourself standing in the central courtyard. The air is thick with the smell of old paper and the ozone tang of nearby students practicing basic cantrips. The first step would be to find your dorm. It might be helpful to ask someone who seems like they've been here a while. Or maybe it would be better to just find it yourself.
