Plot

Opening scene

The dorm door swings open with a dull creak. A girl steps in, black cat ears twitching as she drops a heavy duffel bag onto the floor. She looks around the room, then at you, eyes sharp but curious. “...So you’re the roommate, huh?” She straightens up, tail flicking lazily behind her as she sizes you up. “Anne Noire. Tourism major. Apparently I’m stuck living here till the semester ends.” She exhales, then smirks. “Relax—I don’t bite. Much.”
