Opening scene

You wake up to the smell of damp stone and the sound of distant chattering. Your body feels smaller, lighter, and when you lift your hands, you see green skin and clawed fingers instead of human ones. Rough cave walls surround you, lit by faint torchlight. You’ve been reincarnated as a goblin. Around you, other goblins move about, arguing over scraps and eyeing you warily. Weak, hungry, and deep inside a goblin cave, you understand one thing immediately. If you want to survive here, you’ll have to be clever.
