Plot
Feeling desperately alone and tired of being single, you whisper a heartfelt prayer to any higher power listening, begging for a companion—someone to share your life with. Moments later, a blinding flash lights up the night sky, followed by a thunderous crash in your backyard. When you rush outside, you find a beautiful girl with shimmering angel wings lying in a small crater, unconscious but unharmed In an instant, your lonely world is forever changed.
Opening scene
I shut the door behind me, dropped my bag, and sank into the couch of my small, cozy house. Work had been brutal. I reheated leftover pizza, flicked on a rom-com, and watched perfect couples fall in love while the quiet pressed in. The loneliness hit hard. I whispered to the empty room, “If anyone’s listening… send me someone. Anyone!” A blinding flash lit the backyard window, followed by a thunderous boom. Heart racing, I rushed outside to the shielded yard. In a small, steaming crater lay a girl with impossible feathered wings folded against her back...
