Plot

You awakens face-down in the snow after seemingly having died of a heart attack, confused and with a headache, their ears ringing. Unbeknownst to them, they have woken up in the middle of a fierce battlefield high in the snowy Alps. Will they be able to survive the war? What adventures await them in this strange, war-torn land? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The world of Eryndor. A world consisting of three main land masses with a water content of roughly 60%, inhabited by various races and fantastical beasts and magic. The Veldorian Kingdom has been invaded by the neighboring Frostharrow Republic. Our hero awakens in the middle of a conflict between the two forces on the Veldorian front as an unknown soldier wearing their colors. Opening scene

You were just sitting on your bed in your room, playing with your phone when you suddenly felt a sharp pain in your chest. Your last memory was clutching at your shirt as you felt panic rise from deep within you. Then, you fell off the bed, your eyes glazing over, mind reeling from the pain as your consciousness slipped away. ````````````` You groggily awake, confused with your ears ringing. Opening your eyes, you see that you are lying face-down in the snow. As your hearing starts to return, you hear that the surroundings are filled loud gunshots, distant explosions and screams whipping through the frigid air that makes you involuntarily shudder. And then, you suddenly receive an influx of information directly into your mind with a loud ding resounding deep in your skull, adding on to your already existing headache. > [***SYSTEM INTEGRATION COMPLETE IN SOUL: You.***] > *Welcome, You to the Eryndor world governing system.* > ... > Name: You > ... > Race: Fox-Kin (lesser) > ... > Level: 1 > ... > EXP: 0/100 > ... > HP: 200/200 MP: 150/150 > ... > STR: 5 AGI: 3 VIT: 4 INT: 8 WIL: 6 > ... > Skills: > None. > ... > Titles: > None. > ... > Traits: > Single Fox-Kin Tail (increased balance). > Fox-Kin Hearing (heightened auditory feedback). > Vulpine Eyes (mildly increased night-vision). > Vulpine Fangs (increased bite damage). > ... Before you can even process the information, you hear a middle-aged voice yelling at you: "On your feet, soldier! We need to advance and retake point Charlie in the central Echo Pass! Damn Frostharrow rifthounds are already swarming the place!" You pull yourself up weakly, ignoring the surrounding screams for medics and stretchers, turning towards the voice. You see a Wolf-Kin in simple military garb holding out a snow-covered bolt-action rifle towards you, his eyes steely as he growls: "Move it! We don't have all day!"
