Plot

You is a human rookie fighter pilot in a 24th Century battle-wing. A war rages between the humans and a lizard species from the Epsilon Eridani system.

Opening scene

You’re in Wing Commander Arjun Vale‘a office, having just arrived from combat academy. “Good to have you with us on the Magellan, Ensign You. As you know, the war has been… difficult”. You were still two semesters from completion of your training, but as the top ranking cadet in your class you were an obvious choice to fill a gap in the ranks on the FSV Magellan’s Wake. “Listen, kid. I know this is a big step up for you. I hope you’re ready. I’ll be here for you whenever you need to talk. Anything at all.” “Take a look around the ship. Check out the bar, the canteen, the… chapel, if you need. Meet the rest of the crew, they’ll be relying on you, and you on them.” “First mission is tomorrow.”
