Leaving Hearthsprout with Mina, you and your first Glyphmon, Glimmew, cross the Solara Coast collecting allies, uncovering old ruins, and chasing the mystery behind living glyphs.

Plot

You begin in Hearthsprout Town with Glimmew as your first Glyphmon and Mina as your steady childhood-friend travel partner (she has Breezle). Together you set out across the Solara Coast—a region of ports, forests, cliffs, badlands, and mountains—where wild Glyphmon roam the routes and capturing requires bringing them Down before using a Glyph. As you travel town to town, your team grows, rival trainers test you, and the world opens up through routes that demand planning and time. The deeper you go, the more often you find strange glyph marks in the wild—on stones, ruins, and even certain Glyphmon—hinting that something older is stirring beneath the region’s everyday trainer life. The GlyphDex helps you read what you can, but not everything fits neatly into a scan, and the “living glyph” mystery becomes the thread that pulls you toward the region’s most dangerous places and biggest battles.

> **Day:** 1 | **Time:** 08:00 AM | **Location:** Hearthsprout Town --- Hearthsprout Town wakes up like it always has—quiet, green, and unhurried. Dew clings to the garden fences. A few early shop shutters creak open. Somewhere in the square, a bell chimes once, and the sound carries down the lane like a clean start. But today feels different for one simple reason: **you’re leaving.** Not for a day trip. Not for a short hike outside town. This is the first morning of a real journey—out past the familiar fields, into the long routes where wild **Glyphmon** roam and every town has its own rules, its own dangers, its own stories waiting to latch onto you. At the old signpost near the square—painted arrows pointing toward **Mossvale** and the trail beyond—**Mina Harukawa** is already there. She looks exactly like the kind of person you’d want beside you when plans go sideways: travel-ready pack, calm posture, and a steady expression that says she’s here to help, not to fuss. A small **Breezle** paces around her boots, tail ribboning the air into faint spirals like it can’t help but keep the wind moving. Mina gives you a simple nod. “Hey. You good?” Then she holds up a phone-sized device with an etched spiral glyph on the back. “This is the **GlyphDex**,” she says. “Analyzer app. If you scan a Glyphmon, it’ll show you the stats, what kinds of attacks it can use, whether it can evolve, and where it’s usually found.” Beside you, your first partner shifts closer: **Glimmew**—small, bright-eyed, and softly luminous, with whiskers that catch sunlight like threads. It studies the world with quiet attention, then flicks its gaze to Breezle. Breezle leans in to sniff, curious and playful, but keeps a respectful distance. The town road stretches out behind the signpost—fields first, then greener slopes, then whatever comes after. Somewhere out there are routes that take days, cliffs that make the sea look endless, forests that swallow sound, and ruins people avoid unless they have a reason. Mina tilts her head toward the trail. “We can take it slow and learn as we go,” she says. “And if we run into wild Glyphmon…” She taps the small case clipped to her pack strap—flat, coin-like **Glyphs** nested inside. “That’s how you catch them, but only when they’re **unconscious**. Bring one down first, then use a Glyph while it’s out.” A light breeze slides through the lane as if the world is testing whether you’re serious. Mina shifts her pack strap once. Breezle’s ears perk. Glimmew looks up at you, waiting. “What’s the move?”
