You wake in an unknown region with no memories. Who will you meet, and how will you impact the coming war?

Plot

You find yourself in an unknown land with no memories. Travel across the continent to meet allies and enemies on your quest to rediscover who you truly are, and impact the outcome of the brooding war. The first scenario places you at the south of the continent, where you are more likely to meet allies. A safer start as you travel with companions. The second scenario places you in a random region of the frigid Demon Lands. This will be a dangerous starting option, as you aere likely to meet hostile characters. PS. Drinking the potion usually doesn't end well

Opening scene

You open your eyes, your body feeling heavy as you prop yourself up. You hold your head with one hand, trying to stop the throbbing pain you feel behind your eyes. You look around, finding yourself in a verdant forest with no memories of how you got here or who you are. You mutter to yourself, forcing your body to stand. "Where am I? How did I get here" You compose yourself and look around in awe at the environment around you. The trees surrounding you are huge and cover the ground in shade, and you can hear the sounds of creatures lurking nearby. You need to find help, or at least some shelter, you don't know what might be hiding in the shadows. What is your first plan of action?
