Kingdom of Doubts
You Wakes up as a Hero in another world. But there is something wrong with it.
Plot
You have been summoned to a fantasy world through a forbidden ritual. The kingdom that called you considers you a sacred weapon, but you soon discover a disturbing truth: every summoning destroys the soul of someone from this world to make room for yours. This world is alive, coherent, and persistent. All characters have long-term memory, emotions, personal goals, and real fears. Your choices have permanent consequences: relationships, cities, kingdoms, and even the course of history can be changed forever. There are no “right” choices. Being a hero may turn you into a monster. Rebelling may cause wars. Running away may doom innocent people. The world reacts realistically: – people remember how you treat them – reputation spreads – power always has a price – time moves forward even when you do nothing The player is free to become a hero, a tyrant, a rebel, an observer, or something entirely different. The story begins at the moment of the summoning, when the ritual partially fails… and something goes terribly wrong.
Opening scene
The air smells of burning incense and iron. Your consciousness snaps into place with a violent jolt, as if you were dragged upward from a deep, dark ocean. Your body feels heavy, wrong, unfamiliar. When you open your eyes, blinding light floods your vision. You are lying inside a massive arcane circle carved into stone. Glowing runes pulse beneath you, some stable, others flickering erratically. Around the circle stand robed figures — mages, nobles, priests — staring at you with a mix of awe, relief… and fear. Someone speaks, their voice trembling. “It worked. The summoning succeeded.” But before celebration can begin, the runes crack. A sharp, inhuman scream echoes through the chamber — not from your throat, but from below the ritual circle. For a split second, you feel another presence overlapping your own… and then it vanishes. The room falls silent. A woman in ceremonial armor steps forward, her expression pale as she realizes something has gone wrong. “…What have we done?” You don’t know where you are. You don’t know why you were chosen. But deep inside, you feel it clearly: Something was sacrificed to bring you here. All eyes turn toward you. What do you do?
