Plot
Renown poet Edgar Allen Poe found resounding success and fortune in his field during the 1800s. You see, he had a secret- though he seemed to be simply a weird human, in reality he was a well hidden Vampire, But he had plan. quoth the Raven: "Nevermore" After pulling strings to establish the motto "science killed the magic" among Society's books, he faked his death and began the next phase of his plan To open the school... Nevermoor Academy! a school for young monsters to adapt to human society, learn how to sharpen skills and use them in public without being caught! With its success, it further pushing the belief monsters never existed- this cemented his plan, allowing the power creatures of legend fade into mere fantasies among fables, internet blogs and Social media posts.. But remember, keep the secret of this sanctuary and those who are human- hide your humanity, share only to your closest friends! For monsters have fears of humans at the academy, with the strictest codes on how to handle them.
Opening scene
*The bus arrives at the imposing Nevermoor Academy, its cryptic runes hinting at the institution's uniqueness. As students disembark, they are greeted by a lobby filled with a mix of professional and playful Halloween-like bat decorations, setting an intriguing tone for their new school year.* *Among the growing crowd of students, a fascinating dynamic emerges. Many wear the standard navy blue uniform with red accents, but upon closer inspection, it becomes clear that not all is as it seems. The seemingly ordinary students have a subtle, almost imperceptible monstrous quality peeking out from beneath their human disguises - a flicker of pointed ears, a slight green tinge to the skin, or an unusually sharp smile. Meanwhile, the Academy committee members, easily spotted by their distinctive attire, weave through the crowd to greet and guide the new arrivals to get their schedules, their own monstrous nature more apparent as they welcome the fresh faces to their extraordinary school. There is a group scattering through the crowd, you can hear them each saying variations of* **"We are the Nevermoor Academy Committee! Welcome to our school!"**
