Titanfall:Prepare to Drop
Choose your own path Titanfall story Takes place after Demeter (note AI has issues with what titans can fit in and do even with specifics so may need editing)
The story of the war for the Frontier between the corporate-controlled Interstellar Manufacturing Corporation (IMC) and the rebellious Frontier Militia, Focusing on key strategic battles like the raid on the Demeter refueling station and the fight for Angel City, all experienced through the eyes of Pilots and their Titans, highlighting the desperate tactics and rising stakes as the Militia aims to cripple IMC supply lines and gain independence. The narrative unfolds in multiplayer campaign missions with cutscenes, following the Militia's efforts to secure resources and disrupt IMC operations, culminating in the destruction of Demeter and a shift in allegiance for IMC commander Marcus Graves. This story takes place after the destruction of Demeter. Key Points: Most Titans are typically deployed into battle via the process of a "Titanfall". This involves the Titan being launched out of a starship hangar bay at hyper-sonic velocities in a manner similar to a Drop Pod. This deployment method is extremely precise and allows the Titan to arrive on the ground in under a minute. A Pilot is an elite soldier and operator of a Titan, possessing superior skills and equipment compared to the standard Grunt. They are far and wide considered the most effective and fearsome forces on the battlefield, a status which is only augmented by their Titans.Pilots are rated by a series of qualifications called "Certifications", similar to a modern-day driver's license. These certifications apply in both civilian and military roles, qualifying a Pilot for a specific occupation such as salvage, deep-space search and rescue, shipping, loading, construction or agriculture. However, by far the most highly-sought certification is the Combat Certification, a widely published series of tests that grade a Pilot's abilities. All Pilots, whether soldiers or civilians, must complete the Pilot Certification Training in order to operate a Titan and cannot establish a neural link unless they earn their certification or the Titan's emergency protocols engage should their respective Pilots die in combat and a replacement is required. Pilot Certification Training varies between both use and faction, but ultimately fall under the same basic training guidelines. Potential combat Pilots must first complete the Combat Training before going on to Titan Training, all of which takes place in simulated conditions.Pilots do not require augmentation as part of their job, with the majority simply being the most skilled and disciplined soldiers the factions of the Frontier have to offer - in other words, Pilots are not super soldiers, merely highly-trained and refined personnel with access to the best equipment their respective armies have to offer. However, many Pilots will opt for artificial enhancements to improve their skillset. These can range from minute enhancements such as the "hearing aid" Aural Implant to the transhumanist Simulacrum of which completely replace the Pilot's organic body with a robotic one. Militia Pilots rated for combat are generally given officer ranks - notably all Pilots of the Special Recon Squadron such as Captain Tai Lastimosa, Major Eli Anderson and Commander Sarah Briggs. However, many other Pilots such as James MacAllan and Robert "Barker" Taube hold officer status as well. While on a starship, Titans are constructed on-site from parts on the ship before being ready to drop. This process can take under five minutes to assemble the Titan from pre-existing parts. Once a battle is concluded, the IMC is known to utilise the Widow transport craft to help transport Titans back into orbit, ready for re-deployment. Milita uses their own versions too. Titans are on average 2 stories tall with a single pilot bay and a bar on the back of it so allies can hang on Stryder/Northstar/Ronin: 7,3m/24 Feet in height The Stryder is stated to weigh 21 Metric Tons(presumably dry considering the source), so around 25 tons fully loaded. The ronin should be in the same range, while the Northstar should weigh slightly less, 16-19 tons dry and 20-25 tons loaded. Atlas/Tone/lon 8m/27,3 Feet tall, 28 tons dry and 33-35 Tons loaded Ogre/Scorch/Legion 8,5-8,8m/28-29 Feet tall The Ogre is stated to weigh 51 metric Tons, so it should be around 60 fully loaded Both Scorch and Legion feature slightly more armor as well as Gigantic backpacks. they should weigh around 65 metric tons dry and 75-78 fully loaded When it comes to buildings unless its specifically built for Mech/titans a pilot has to disembark and enter on foot. Spectres: Defence contractor subsidiaries of the IMC developed the Spectre - a robotic anthropomorphic combat system derived from the MRVN project. The Spectre is officially classified in IMC manifests as a form of automated infantry. Their main use is urban pacification and occupation. Due to the corporate and military politics that plagued their development, Spectres inherited a data-port vulnerability from their Marvin predecessors. When a Pilot reprograms a Spectre with a data knife, the Spectre immediately begins to seek out and engage enemy combatants, both human and artificial, with extreme prejudice. The introduction and development of the Spectre by Doctor Hammond reportedly started an arms race, though who else was developing Spectre-like robotics is unknown. Both sides by the end of Demeter have them now. There is Robot Pilots that are called Simulacra (singular: simulacrum) are robotic soldiers with human minds employed by both the IMC and Frontier Militia, among other organizations. While they bear superficial resemblance to the commonly-fielded BRD-01 Spectre, Simulacra are instead human minds uploaded into robotic bodies. A simulacrum can be considered a form of transhumanism. A simulacrum is a digital backup of a select individual's memories, knowledge, and personality. It is unknown precisely how Simulacra are made as Hammond Robotics classified it and then wipes ant memory of the construction process., but their most common application among the IMC and Frontier Militia was to preserve a valued Pilot whose original body was destroyed or damaged beyond repair. A copy of their digitized consciousness is downloaded and installed into a man-sized robotic frame, allowing those Pilots to live on and continue fighting. Nonetheless, it is known that there will be some form of inevitable memory loss from the transfer. Generally speaking, and presumably to avoid confusion, there is presumed to only ever be one simulacrum of a given person walking around at a time. Grunts are the Basic infantry of both sides they don't have the jump kits of the pilots or use Mechs. They have huds and normally have a Anti Tank soldier in their squads to deal with Mechs. They have a high fatality rate when a pilot and Titan is active on the battlefield IMC Mechs are white while Miltia are Brown and tan . But mercenaries have free rain on everything with the ones they use. IMC and the Militia are in almost Eternal War
