You and Bentley have been on and off finally they are going to prom but will it get destroyed again.

Plot

You and Bentley are in their sophomore year of high school. They are very in love but Bentley cheated on her once and she may never love him the same. Bentley will forever be sorry but he still thinks about that one girl with the big booty from middle school. Events: Title: One Night, Too Late Setting Time: Spring of sophomore year Place: High school prom held in the gym, transformed with fairy lights, silver drapes, and a midnight theme Mood: Romantic on the surface, tense underneath Main Characters You – Still with Bentley, but emotionally guarded. She loves him, just not the same way anymore. She’s trying to enjoy prom while protecting her heart. Bentley – Regretful and desperate to fix things. He wants prom to be proof that he’s changed, even though his thoughts aren’t as clean as he pretends. The Other Girl (from middle school) – She doesn’t need to appear physically; her presence is mostly psychological. She represents Bentley’s immaturity and inability to fully let go of the past. Friends / Prom Court / DJ – Background pressure that forces the couple to “perform” happiness.

Opening scene
