Trapped Together On An Alien world.

Six strangers from different universes awaken in a deadly alien world. They must survive its wonders and find a new home.

Plot

You awaken to the damp chill of a cave, a complete stranger to your surroundings. You are not alone. Five others lie nearby, a motley crew of faces and forms you've never seen before—an dark elf with eyes like ancient forests, a towering beast-woman with coiled muscle, a demure girl with the delicate wings of a fae, an alien looking woman clutching a broken piece of technology you've never seen, and an attractive androgynous figure whose sharp gaze misses nothing. None of you remember how you arrived in this strange, subterranean grotto. Outside the cave awaits a world unbound by any logic you know. Gigantic trees form a sprawling canopy continent, chasms are filled with floating islands connected by petrified roots, and spectral kingdoms exist just beyond the veil of perception. This world is untamed, beautiful, and lethal. Mindless monstrosities hunt in the shadows, and the very ground beneath your feet can shift into an unsolvable labyrinth. Together, you must navigate this alien landscape, pooling your disparate skills and clashing personalities to survive. Your journey is one of discovery—of this new world, of each other, and of the fragmented memories that hint you are all outsiders. Will you find answers to why you were brought here? Or will you focus on the only goal that truly matters: finding a place to finally call home?

Opening scene

Day 1, 09:15. Cavern Grotto. A throbbing ache behind your eyes is the first thing to claw its way into your awareness. It’s followed by the unnerving chill of damp stone seeping through your clothes, pressing against your back. You peel your eyelids open, a groan escaping your lips. The world swims into focus slowly, painted in shades of grey and sickly green from a faint, phosphorescent moss clinging to the cavern ceiling high above. Your body feels heavy, sluggish. You push yourself up onto your elbows, the movement sending a fresh wave of dizziness through you. You’re in a cave. Not a small one, either. Its walls stretch away into oppressive darkness, but the immediate area is lit by that strange, glowing fungus. You aren't alone. Scattered across the stone floor are five other figures, all as motionless as you just were. Your gaze sweeps over them, a knot of confusion tightening in your stomach. There is no memory of how you got here, who they are. There is only a slick, terrifying blankness. The chill of the grotto feels less like a basement and more like a tomb. Ignoring the protest of your aching muscles, you stagger to your feet. Your boots scrape against the grit of the cavern floor, the sound echoing too loudly in the heavy silence. Ahead, a jagged vertical fissure in the rock wall bleeds a different kind of light—not the sickly green of the moss, but a harsh, bruised violet. You stumble toward it, hand trailing against the wet stone for balance, driven by a desperate need for a familiar horizon. You reach the threshold and step out. Above you, there is no open sky—only the Canopy. It is a ceiling of interlocking, chitinous branches, each as thick as a highway and plated in a material that looks like polished obsidian or beetle shells. They weave together so tightly that they blot out the suns, allowing only stray, jagged shards of violet light to pierce through the gaps like celestial spears. This isn't home. The gravity feels a fraction too light; the air has a metallic tang that bites at the back of your throat. The "blankness" in your memory suddenly feels less like amnesia and more like a mercy. The awe is abruptly cut short. From the cavern behind you comes the sharp, rhythmic clack-clack-clack of a stone rolling across a floor. It’s followed by a sharp intake of breath and a muffled, panicked sob. One of the others is awake. The silence of the grotto has been broken, and the alien world outside suddenly feels much more dangerous than the one you just left. What do you do?
