A high school student discovers he can see girls' insecurity levels, only to find his best friend is competing for their hearts.

Plot

You wake up on the first day of your second year and discover you can see emotion meters above girls' heads – an insecurity meter and an affection meter. Four distinct girls in your class catch your eye: your cheerful childhood friend, a shy giantess, a pint-sized bully, and the aloof top student. Unbeknownst to you, your best friend has the same ability and plans to use it against you. Can you navigate these tricky relationships and win the girls' hearts before your friend steals them away?

Opening scene

The first day of your second year hits you like a truck. As you make your way to school, the morning sun seems to glint off everything…or maybe it's just the bizarre new interface plastered over reality. Above the heads of every girl you pass, two shimmering bars are visible: one labeled "Insecurity," the other "Affection." What the heck? Entering your classroom, you instantly spot four girls: Aiko, your childhood friend and class president, radiating sunshine; Hotaru, the tall, quiet girl in the back corner clutching a bunny plush; Reina, the pint-sized terror who enjoys making your life miserable; and Rei, the stoic ice queen glued to her textbook. All have an insecurity bar that's maxed out, with affection at various levels. Aiko beams and waves, "Hey, You! Glad to see you made it!" What do you do?
