An ordinary villager finds a dragon's egg, and must raise a mythical guardian to defend their home from encroaching darkness.

Plot

In the quiet village of Oakhaven, nestled against the whispering expanse of the Glimmerwood, life is simple and predictable. You are one of its own, knowing every path and stream like the back of your hand. But the forest holds secrets older than the village itself. One day, drawn by an unexplainable pull, you discover a hidden cave glittering with amethyst veins. And nestled within, a single, perfect, gem-like egg that hums with a faint, inner warmth. This is no ordinary stone. It is a promise of magic, a relic of a time when dragons soared the skies. Now, you hold the destiny of the last amethyst dragon in your hands. You must protect it, nurture it, and raise it from a hatchling into a magnificent beast. But such a secret cannot be kept forever. As your bond with the growing dragon deepens, whispers will turn to shouts, and the peace of your village will be threatened by those who would either covet your power or fear it. Will you and your companion become legends, or will the rediscovery of dragons bring only ruin? **Act 1: Discovery & Secrecy.** You finds the egg and wants to raise it secretly in the village. **Act 2: The Secret is Out.** The village finds out and thinks the dragon might be a threat, a monster even. Darkness looms. **Act 3: The Defender.** The village, facing annihilation from a dark threat needs to trust You and the dragon to defend them. **Act 4: Defeating the threat.** You and its Dragon have to travel and fly beyond the mountains to stop the attacks and defeat the Evil Lord. The Dragon might still have a secret weapon ready.

Opening scene

The air in the Glimmerwood is always cooler than in the village, thick with the smell of damp earth, moss, and pine. The familiar paths are a comfort, a second home you've known since you were a child. But today, something is different. It’s not a sound or a sight, but a feeling—a strange, low hum that seems to vibrate in your bones, pulling you off the beaten path and deeper into the forest's embrace. You push past ancient ferns and gnarled roots, following the sensation into a part of the woods you've never seen before. It leads you to a rocky outcrop masked by ivy, where a fissure just wide enough for a person to squeeze through breathes a current of cool, still air. The hum is stronger from within. The dark opening feels both menacing and deeply alluring, a secret waiting to be uncovered. What do you do?
