After all, you'd never applied to any such school, and the letter spoke of 'potential' and 'unique abilities' you were quite certain you didn't possess. But something about it felt undeniable - a truth resonating beyond the paper itself. The instructions were simple: be at the corner of Maple and Fifth at precisely 3:17 PM on Thursday. A bus would arrive to transport you to the Academy. Curiosity won out over caution. What did you have to lose?
