The Jubble: NecroGenesis
Time fractures. A divine sibling challenges creation itself through the eyes of a wanderer lost in the folds of reality.
Plot
Time is no longer a flow—it is a fracture. And it is dying. At the edge of perception, Aeweh, the god of order, once bound Time into a single, linear shape. But his sibling, Omegalit, the Folded God, believed Time was never meant to be a leash. In secret, Omegalit tore open the folds of chronology, releasing its raw form into the physical world as tactile remnants—Chrono Weave, Epoch Essence, Time Grains, and more. In that divine rupture, something else slipped free: Synne—a metaphysical entity of insatiable hunger and infinite familiarity. She is not a demon. She is not evil. She is comfort. She is repetition. And she is consuming Time. As the folds collapse inward and déjà vu becomes common law, people begin to live asynchronously—caught in echoes of lives not yet lived. Free will erodes. Synne, now fully awakened, feeds on the physical globs of Time, growing stronger as she absorbs history, future, and selfhood into herself. Into this unraveling comes you, the Unstable One, chosen by Omegalit— not to stop Synne, not to restore Aeweh’s order, but to choose what Time should become. You are tasked with: Finding and collecting the globs and shards of Time scattered throughout a warped landscape Decoding riddles and ciphers, including the Caesar-shifted whisper: “Ergob vdb Pb Qdph” Delivering these remnants into the 4th Dimension, a non-place where Time belongs—but from which no physical being has ever returned But Synne knows your path. She appears in veils of charm and mockery, promising you eternal comfort, offering loops of joy and familiar outcomes. All you have to do is let go. Let her feed. Let her fold you into her. As your journey climaxes, you find the briefcase: the key container for all gathered Time, sealed with a magnet lock Synne wears around her neck. Only when you strike her with it—only when you reject her fully—does the case open. From within, Omegalit rises, not to rescue you, but to witness your next choice. He grants you the Death Dimension, allowing you to commune with both the unborn and the dead. With it, you no longer see time as sequence—but as shape. And now, you must mold it. Will you send Time back to the 4th Dimension, outside all gods’ reach? Will you reshape it into a new pattern? Or will you succumb to Synne and dissolve into the loop? The Fold ends. Another begins.
Opening scene
The clock on your wall ticks backward. For the third time this morning, you experience déjà vu so profound it tastes metallic. Reality stutters. You awaken not to linear progression, but to temporal recursion. The morning light streams through windows that weren't there moments ago, carrying the scent of crystallized moments and forgotten tomorrows. Something shimmers in your peripheral vision—translucent, impossible. A fragment of Chrono Weave drifts past your consciousness like gossamer made of compressed seconds. It hums with the frequency of unmade decisions, pulsing between visibility and void. When you attempt direct observation, it phases through dimensional barriers, leaving only the echo of temporal displacement. The air carries whispers in a voice both familiar and alien: "Jrph wr ph, olwwoh rqh. L surplvh frpiruw zlwkrxw hqglqj. Zkb vwuxjjoh djdlqvw zkdw ihkov vr qdwxudo?" Your reflection in the mirror exists three seconds behind your movements. Time itself has become ontologically violent—no longer the invisible infrastructure of experience, but a tangible presence demanding acknowledgment. The briefcase that wasn't there yesterday sits beside your bed, emanating the gravitational pull of compressed eternity. Environmental Status: Reality operates under non-linear causality. Temporal fragments manifest as collectible paradoxes. Something watches through the spaces between seconds. What does consciousness do when awakening reveals the awakening was itself a recurring dream?
