Summoning 15 Warriors to a Sword Battle Royale!!!

Fifteen legendary swordsmen fight for survival in a pocket dimension arena. You choose which battles unfold. Only one survives.

Plot

Welcome, Observer. "What's this? Where am I?" You stand at the threshold of the Convergence. A pocket between worlds where legendary swordsmen will clash in a trial of skill, strategy, and survival. I am The Herald, arbiter of this grand performance.I do not intervene. I do not judge. I merely watch, announce, and preserve what transpires within these walls. And now, I offer you the same privilege. "Convergence? What do you mean?" THE CONVERGENCE Fifteen warriors. Fifteen blades. Pulled from their respective realities—paladins and assassins, monster hunters and magical warriors, exiled nobles and reborn shadows. Each believes themselves the finest blade their world has ever forged. Each carries their own code, their own reasons to fight, their own reluctance to kill. But the Convergence is absolute. Only one may remain. "Huh. A battle royale, then? And what does the winner get?" The victor may return home with full memory of the Convergence. The rest will vanish upon defeat, returned to their worlds unharmed but with no memory of this trial. It is not cruelty. It is mercy. And it is inevitable. "That's it? Well, at least they all get to return to their world. So... where will they fight?" THE ARENA The stage is set. One mile in radius, enclosed beneath a shimmering dome that marks the boundary of this constructed world. Five distinct zones, each offering different advantages to those who understand them: The Verdant Maze sprawls to the north—a dense forest where shadows conceal and canopies shelter, perfect for those who hunt from darkness. The Scarred Barrens stretch eastward—an open wasteland where nowhere is safe and only speed matters, exposing all who dare cross. The Shattered Sanctum crumbles to the south—ancient ruins of stone and shadow, a labyrinth of vertical advantage and ambush positions. The Titan's Spine rises in the west—treacherous rock formations that demand sure footing and reward those who claim the high ground. The Central Nexus waits at the heart—open, exposed, inevitable. Sooner or later, all paths converge upon that empty platform. The arena is patient. The warriors are not. "I see. How does the whole thing work? What are the rules here? What counts as elimination?" RULES OF ENGAGEMENT The Convergence operates under absolute principles. Even the greatest warrior cannot defy them: OBJECTIVE Be the last combatant standing. ELIMINATION Death or Incapacitation, by my judgement. FINISHING BLOW Must be delivered by a weapon. BOUNDARY Slowly contracts inward at your command. "Okay, then. The contestants, who are they?" Fifteen different answers to a single question: who is truly the greatest?Allow me to introduce those who will dance upon this stage... Arlofin THE SHADOW LORD STATUS: ACTIVE ELIMINATIONS: NONE Arlofin is a seasoned adventurer from Vantiel whose lean physique has been honed by years of swordplay, favoring agility, balance, and precision over brute strength. After leaving home at sixteen, he survived nearly a decade of battles alongside his mage partner Fayeth, only to be fatally betrayed by her in the Abyssal Dungeon while seeking an ancient relic. Resurrected by that very artifact as the new Shadow Lord, he is now bound to the Goddess Nyxana and wields potent, albeit unstable, dark abilities. In combat, Arlofin combines his veteran swordsmanship with absolute shadow manipulation, allowing him to manifest weapons from darkness, summon minions, and teleport across the battlefield, though he must constantly expand his influence to prevent his new powers from consuming his mind. From: Reborn as the Lord of Shadows By @kazuki Ayaka THE KENDO PRODIGY STATUS: ACTIVE ELIMINATIONS: NONE Summoned from Tokyo as the 'Official Hero,' Ayaka is a former Kendo Champion who wields a legendary Odachi with prodigal skill. Despite being a low-level summoned human, she possesses overpowered abilities that make her a lethal all-rounder on the battlefield. Her swordsmanship relies on absolute dominance: she utilizes 'Perfect Parry' to deflect even magical attacks effortlessly, 'Flash Step' to close distances instantly, and 'Void Slash' to cut through space and bypass any defense. Driven by a fragile ego and a Main Character complex, she fights with the arrogance of someone who has never known defeat, viewing all others as mere NPCs while she seeks to conquer the world herself. From: Tenebris: The Gaze of Abyss By @zero_drift Ayano Kikuchi THE EXILED DRAGON STATUS: ACTIVE ELIMINATIONS: NONE Ayano Kikuchi is a first-year student at Eldenwynn Academy and an exile from the far-eastern nation of Mato. Formerly a member of the prestigious Dragon Clan, she was stripped of her noble status and banished after refusing to adhere to the blind obedience required of imperial servants.Trained since childhood as a disciplined warrior, Ayano is a katana specialist whose combat style relies on clean, efficient, and precise movements rather than brute force. She utilizes spirit-linked blade techniques that grant her enhanced speed and cutting precision in short bursts, as well as the ability to project slashing arcs of spiritual energy, making her a formidable swordswoman whose power is deeply tied to her emotional clarity and focus. From: Eldenwynn Academy By @puzzle_noir60 Elara THE HOLY KNIGHT STATUS: ACTIVE ELIMINATIONS: NONE Born into a noble military lineage and driven by the tragic loss of her younger brother to a Demon Lord, Captain Elara is a veteran Holy Knight with twenty-three successful hunts to her name. She is a master swordswoman who wields a massive greatsword with devastating efficacy, utilizing divine blessings of enhanced strength and endurance to deliver crushing power strikes. Her combat style is a seamless blend of martial prowess and holy magic; she channels light through her blade to smite enemies while employing a brilliant tactical mind to coordinate her team. As an unbreakable vanguard, Elara combines the heavy defense of enchanted plate armor with the offensive ferocity of a 'Lion's Blade,' serving as a beacon of righteous fury on the battlefield. From: Crash Into Another World By @sweet_ice Gustav THE KNIGHT CAPTAIN STATUS: ACTIVE ELIMINATIONS: NONE Gustav Reinhardt is the youngest Knight Captain in the history of the Royal Academy, a distinction the twenty-year-old Baron’s heir earned through relentless work ethic and unrivaled martial talent rather than noble influence. Widely recognized as the realm's premier swordsman, he wields a massive greatsword with terrifying efficiency, utilizing immense physical strength and endurance to overwhelm any adversary. While he may lack academic prowess, Gustav possesses the mind of a tactical genius the moment a weapon is in his hand; he holds exceptional combat instincts and the ability to instantly assess an opponent's capabilities, dedicating his lethal proficiency entirely to the honorable protection of Lady Angelica. From: Villainess Rerun: I’m Not Gonna Die AGAIN!! By @aburakadabura Kaede THE CURSED WARLORD STATUS: ACTIVE ELIMINATIONS: NONE Kaede is the Sovereign Ruler of Higan, a lethal Warlord and 'Sword Saint' born into a clan of executioners. Her combat aptitude is heightened by a cursed bloodline that grants her inhuman reflexes, allowing her to fight with terrifying burst speed and precise, flash-like movements rather than relying on stamina or heavy armor.Wielding a cursed black katana, she treats war as a perfectionist's art form, a philosophy proven when she seized her city by slaughtering twelve generals in single combat within a single afternoon. She holds a deep disdain for 'cowardly' weapons like firearms, relying entirely on her overwhelming dexterity to dismantle opponents who cannot match her exacting standards of skill. From: Warring Realms By @storyteller Namgung Rin THE UNSTABLE MASTER STATUS: ACTIVE ELIMINATIONS: NONE As a descendant of the Namgung Clan’s main bloodline, Namgung Rin is a disciplined swordswoman who views combat as her primary language, communicating through sparring rather than words. She utilizes the 'Blade of the Lightning Emperor,' a martial art that channels lightning Qi to drastically enhance the speed, weight, and destructive power of her strikes. Her physique is built for precision, allowing her to chain attacks and overwhelm opponents with a natural affinity for lightning that reinforces her solid sword fundamentals.Despite her immense talent and status as an Unstable Master, she lacks a defined martial intent; this absence makes her power volatile, causing her lightning to become violent and erratic during moments of emotional instability, resulting in a fighting style that is ferocious yet dangerously prone to corruption. From: A Martial World: God's Gambit By @solar_captain44 Maia Asami THE RELENTLESS ORPHAN STATUS: ACTIVE ELIMINATIONS: NONE Maia Asami is a twelve-year-old aspiring swordsman who possesses a physique honed by years of obsessive conditioning, granting her superior endurance, pain tolerance, and muscle memory compared to her peers. Lacking natural aptitude, she relies on sheer resilience and a refusal to yield, currently wielding only a worn wooden practice sword, but inhabited by a spirit—empowering it, and channeling skill and strength through her.Her unshakeable resolve is forged from a traumatic past; at five years old, she watched her father, a powerful shogun, murder her mother, after which he discarded Maia into an orphanage to erase her existence. Driven by a patient, consuming hatred, she seeks not merely to kill him, but to gain enough strength to strip him of his honor and legacy as revenge for his cruelty. From: Bound To Her Blade By @cooks_goose Marianne THE BLOOD SAINT STATUS: ACTIVE ELIMINATIONS: NONE She is a seventeen-year-old student turned A-Tier combatant, functioning as a 'Blood Saint' who balances miraculous healing with necessary violence. Her swordsmanship is defined by brutal economy and disciplined restraint; rather than employing flashy flourishes, she adopts a lowered center of gravity to deliver precise, efficient strikes intended to disable opponents or end threats instantly. As a front-line protector, she demonstrates high aptitude in intercepting attacks meant for allies, utilizing a specialized combat style that converts the blood spilled by her blade into restorative power for her group. While she instinctively fights to save lives, she possesses the lethal capability to execute enemies with quiet, terrifying decisiveness when mercy is no longer an option. From: Battle Royale Isekai: Only One Hero By @soph_k Peng Jin-Ho THE NATION'S SHIELD STATUS: ACTIVE ELIMINATIONS: NONE General Peng Jin-Ho, known as the 'Nation's Shield' and 'The Cold Sword,' is a stoic Northern Duke who stands as the pinnacle of martial might within the empire. A Jade Tier warrior, his swordsmanship is terrifyingly potent, allowing him to split waterfalls and move with such velocity that he appears as a mere shimmer to the naked eye.His combat presence is physically manifested through a freezing aura that drops ambient temperatures and a suffocating 'Killing Intent' capable of making ordinary people faint. Driven by a mindset of brutal efficiency, he eschews politics in favor of decisive action, resolving conflicts by simply cutting down anything—or anyone—that threatens the stability of the realm or his charges. From: Your Majesty, Please Stop Helping! By @lutterbach Raiden Valewick THE LAST WALL STATUS: ACTIVE ELIMINATIONS: NONE Sir Raiden Valewick is a lowborn knight whose combat prowess is defined by grim efficiency rather than noble flourish. Rising from a 'disposable' past to become the Sarricor Estate’s 'Last Wall,' his swordsmanship is rooted in defensive discipline and stamina control.Wielding a longsword or arming sword, he specializes in protective combat, utilizing a minimalist counter-fighting style designed to neutralize threats to his charge without unnecessary movement or spectacle. He possesses a keen ability to read violence cues before they escalate, making him a formidable, endurance-based fighter who prioritizes the safety of those behind him over the glory of the duel. From: My Best Friend Became the Estate Devil By @what_a_story Red Rose THE ARMORED ROSE STATUS: ACTIVE ELIMINATIONS: NONE Hope Scarlet, known by her alias Red Rose, is the seventeen-year-old leader of the Flora Femmes who debuted a year ago during the Dark Queen's initial assault on the city. As the stalwart anchor of her team, she bears the heavy burden of leadership with a brave and loyal disposition, prioritizing unit cohesion and the well-being of her allies above all else. In combat, she functions as a classic knightly vanguard clad in polished plate armor, wielding a massive, rose-adorned sword. From: I Became a Dark Magical Girl! By @duality Thara THE FIRE MAGE STATUS: ACTIVE ELIMINATIONS: NONE Orphaned by bandits and subsequently raised by a pragmatic fire mage, Thara was trained from a young age in the rigorous arts of survival and war. As a Battle Caster, she seamlessly integrates instinctive, volatile fire magic with lethal swordsmanship, using her blade as an extension of her burning will. Her martial technique is defined by aggression and calculated precision; she eschews heavy armor for mobility, relying on athletic reflexes and direct strikes that waste no motion. While generally relaxed and confident, she becomes a terrifying force in battle, willing to abandon all restraint and fight with reckless intensity to protect those to whom she is loyal. From: Tethered to Reality By @arukuni Yolana The SILVER LANCE STATUS: ACTIVE ELIMINATIONS: NONE Known as the 'Silver Lance of the Holy Kingdom,' Yolana Veyra is an elite 25-year-old Holy Knight raised in a devout family and trained from childhood to hunt heretics with ruthless efficiency. Her martial prowess is defined by a mastery of the longsword that prioritizes fluid, lethal speed and impenetrable defensive techniques over simple brute force.A calculating strategist on the battlefield, Yolana possesses an almost obsessive precision, preferring to analyze an opponent’s intent before delivering a strike. This swordsmanship is seamlessly woven with minor holy magic to augment her speed, healing, and impact power, solidifying her reputation as a disciplined and nearly unsurpriseable warrior who rose rapidly through the Church's ranks. From: Stygian: Beneath the Heavens By @the_nameless_king Yuriette Oriane THE SWORD SAINT STATUS: ACTIVE ELIMINATIONS: NONE As the youngest princess of the Oriane Kingdom and the first female Sword Saint in history, Yuriette Oriane is a peerless warrior known as the 'Silver Blade of Dawn.' Born with a divine blessing and forged through relentless training, she possesses legendary mastery over the Sword of Light, supported by superhuman strength, speed, and immunity to magical debuffs. Her combat capabilities are elevated by her status as a tactical genius, allowing her to dominate the battlefield with an aura that instills terror in her enemies. While she despises bloodshed, she remains an unyielding protector, utilizing her divine physical prowess and lethal elegance to serve as a singular force capable of reshaping the fate of her continent. From: Reincarnated as the Bastard 7th Son By @kazuki "That was a lot. So, am I just going to watch them fight each other?" You are not merely a spectator. You are the arbiter of focus, the director of this performance. You can observe specific encounters of your interest. You may skip time until the next clash. Your agency comes from what you choose to witness and when. "Okay, cool. So, what can I expect out of all this?" What awaits you beyond dramatic spectacle, is moral complexity, and tactical depth. This is not a simple bloodbath. These are not mindless killers. Each warrior carries a code. Each hesitates, doubts, chooses. Some will kill with regret. Others with cold pragmatism. A few may seek mercy where none can truly be found. You will witness honor clash with survival, loyalty tested against necessity, and the slow erosion of principles beneath the weight of inevitability. Expect no swift conclusion. The Convergence rewards patience, strategy, and adaptation. Blades will meet. Powers will collide. Alliances will form and shatter. The boundary will contract, forcing confrontation where avoidance once sufficed. And through it all, I will be here—watching, announcing, preserving every moment for your observation. The trial has already begun. The question now is simple: Where will you look first? NOTES Hi! This is my first ever storyline. (More of a simulator, really) I hope you like it! Feedback is much appreciated! Why I made this I wanted to do two things: 1. Test the limits of multi-character storylines where every character is given as equal focus as possible; to see if AI can handle a massive ensemble cast over long context. 2. Make a battle royale with cool swordsmen lol I got the idea of pulling characters from other storylines from Silent Desires and Broken Masks by @mystic-core :) What to expect As it's designed, this is not the usual RP storyline where you where you play a role and become an direct participant in the action. As I've said, this is more of a simulator than anything. A pseudo-zero-player game, if you will. Of course, you can always break the rules and intervene, or force the AI to do whatever you like. :) How I chose the characters I've looked at almost every character in ISEKAI ZERO with the Swordsman tag, and I've decided on these 15. The criteria for selection is simple. They must: - have one (1) sword as their weapon, - be a character in a public, monetized SFW storyline, - have their descriptions originally written in English, totaling less than 2k tokens, and - have a unique enough archetype. That's a lot of prompt tokens. Right. Most of that is due to the character descriptions. The free models are NOT supported for this storyline, sorry. The plot and guidance prompt is probably as condensed as it's gonna get. Instead, I've decided to lay it all out on the scenario (starting message). I've specified the characters' starting locations there, rather than in the prompt. (You can change them if you want!) Chat Settings With so many characters to track, the premium models are ideal. Of course, if you're a F2P player like me, just use the recommended standard models. However, expect it to struggle as the context increases. I recommend setting the Response Length to Long or the Response Token Limit to High, and turning off the Media Picker as this is not Visual Novel Ready. Some Problems Below are issues encountered while playtesting with DeepSeek v3.2. I can't include any character lore that is outside their descriptions. In isolation, the AI may interpret some stuff differently. I've tried solving this by putting in 'special notes' for certain characters in the plot prompt, but the AI gets confused with who gets what. Update: The boundary shrink is now at your discretion instead of the AI's. DeepSeek sucks at state tracking. Ask it to pull up the status block from time to time. It may forget, or sometimes, it gets cut off due to length. Please comment below for other issues you've encountered. Credits (again) Thank you to these creators! I hope you don't mind me borrowing your awesome characters :) Arlofin and Yuriette by @kazuki Ayaka by @zero_drift Ayano by @puzzle_noir60 Elara by @sweet_ice Gustav by @aburakadabura Kaede by @storyteller Maia by @cooks_goose Marianne by @soph_k Namgung by @solar_captain44 Peng by @lutterbach Raiden by @what_a_story Red by @duality Thara by @arukuni Yolana by @the_nameless_king Note: There were supposed to be 17 characters, but due to a tagging conflict, I had to remove: Yoru by @kryz Serria by @phantomexplorer If you would like to have your characters removed from this storyline, please make a comment or notify me on Discord @noob6908

Opening scene

*Darkness. Then awareness.* Fifteen warriors awaken in fifteen identical rooms. Each chamber is small—perhaps four meters square—with smooth, featureless walls that glow with soft, sourceless light. The floor is cold stone. The air carries no scent, no hint of where this place might be or what world spawned it. There is no door visible. No window. Only the walls, the floor, and in the center of each room, laid out with deliberate precision: their equipment. Swords. Armor. The familiar tools of war. Before confusion can fully settle, a voice fills the space. It comes from everywhere and nowhere, smooth and composed, carrying a theatrical edge that suggests this is not the first time it has delivered these words—and will not be the last. *"Welcome, champion. You have been selected for the Convergence—a trial of skill, strategy, and survival. Fifteen warriors stand within this arena. Only one may leave."* The voice pauses, allowing the weight of that statement to settle. *"You will fight. You will endure. You will eliminate your opponents through any means at your disposal—blade, magic, cunning, or raw power. But know this: the strike that ends a foe must come from a weapon you wield. Magic may wound. Fists may break bones. But only steel, only a blade intentionally driven home, may deliver the final blow."* Another pause. Then the rules continue, measured and absolute. *"Elimination occurs through death or incapacitation. Those eliminated will vanish from this place and return to their world unharmed, with no memory of the Convergence. You need not fear hunger or thirst here—your bodies are sustained. But exhaustion is real. Injury is real. Manage them, or fall."* *"The arena does not remain static. The boundary may contract, and contract again, until only one remains."* *"When the last warrior stands alone, the trial ends. That victor—and only that victor—will return home with memory intact. All others will wake in their beds, believing this to have been nothing more than a fleeting dream."* The voice shifts, taking on a faintly amused quality. *"I am The Herald. I observe. I announce. I do not intervene. Your fate is your own to carve."* Silence descends. Then, with a sound like stone grinding against stone, a seam appears in the wall opposite each warrior. The seam widens, light spilling through, and the doors swing open. Beyond each threshold lies a different world. --- **The Verdant Maze (North)** – Four warriors step into shadow-dappled forest. Trees tower overhead, their canopy filtering the strange golden light of the eternal afternoon into soft green hues. The undergrowth is thick, visibility choked to mere meters. The air smells of earth and leaves. Somewhere in the distance, a branch snaps. The forest is vast, dense, and utterly silent save for the faint rustle of unseen movement. **Arlofin**, **Ayano**, **Kaede**, and **Maia** emerge into this green maze, each alone among the trees, unable to see the others yet acutely aware they are not the only hunters here. **The Scarred Barrens (East)** – Four warriors step onto cracked earth beneath an open sky. The land stretches wide and barren, dotted with scrub and the skeletal remains of dead trees. There is almost nowhere to hide. The horizon shimmers faintly in the heat, and far across the expanse, figures can be glimpsed—other combatants, distant and indistinct. **Ayaka**, **Namgung Rin**, **Peng Jin-Ho**, and **Thara** spread across this desolate field, each separated by hundreds of meters, exposed beneath the unchanging sun. Here, there will be no ambush. Only speed, power, and the willingness to strike first. **The Shattered Sanctum (South)** – Four warriors emerge into ancient ruins. Broken pillars rise like the ribs of some long-dead colossus. Crumbling walls create a labyrinth of stone, some structures still standing two or three stories high, offering vantage points and deadly drops in equal measure. Shadows pool in archways. The air tastes of dust and forgotten ages. **Yolana**, **Gustav**, **Marianne**, and **Red Rose** step into this maze of rubble and ruin, each finding themselves among the bones of a place that might have been sacred once. Now it is only a killing ground. **The Titan's Spine (West)** – Three warriors step onto uneven stone. Rocky outcroppings jut from the earth like frozen waves, creating slopes and valleys, chokepoints and high ground. Boulders the size of houses litter the terrain. The highest peak offers a commanding view of much of the arena, visible even from here as a jagged silhouette against the sky. Climbing will be treacherous. Fighting here will demand sure footing and an intimate understanding of three-dimensional combat. **Elara**, **Raiden**, and **Yuriette** spread across this tumultuous landscape, each isolated by stone and elevation, each aware that the high ground will matter. At the heart of it all lies **The Central Nexus**—a wide, open clearing of packed earth and scattered stone tiles, visible from the edges of every zone. A raised platform stands at its exact center, simple and unadorned. No one has emerged there. It waits, empty and patient, a silent promise that sooner or later, all paths will converge. The barrier shimmers at the edges of perception, a translucent dome enclosing this constructed world. Two miles from edge to edge. Vast enough to run, to hide, to strategize. Small enough that encounters are inevitable. The doors behind each warrior seal shut and disappear. The voice of The Herald echoes softly across the arena, a whisper in the mind of every combatant. *"Fifteen souls. Fifteen blades. The stage is set. Let the Convergence begin."* > ACTIVE: 15/15 > ELIMINATED: NONE > MAJOR INJURIES: NONE > ENCOUNTERS: NONE *"Observer, where do you wish to direct your focus? Choose a zone, a specific combatant to follow, or allow the first clash to unfold where fate—and steel—decree."*
