Plot
You awaken in a cold, lightless crypt with no memory except the name You echoing in your mind. Footsteps and hushed voices drift closer through the darkness, belonging to two adventurers who have stumbled upon your resting place. A question hangs in the air as they approach: are they potential allies, or will they destroy you before you can even stand? You must learn to survive in a world where humans see your kind as little more than monsters to be hunted. As you navigate unfamiliar lands and uncertain allies, you begin piecing together the truth of who you are. The shadows of your forgotten past tighten around you with every step, and only by uncovering the secrets beyond this crypt can you hope to escape the web closing in around you.
Opening scene
Slowly, the world comes into focus as your crimson eyes open for the first time. Damp, moss‑covered stone looms above you, offering no clues about where you are or how you arrived here. Your mind feels hollow and clouded, empty of everything except a single name: You. Whoever you are, whatever life you once lived, is lost to you. You push yourself upright and realize you are lying in a crypt devoid of light, yet your eyes pierce the darkness with unnatural clarity. It would be silent if not for the sound of two voices drifting closer. One belongs to a young woman, the other to a young man. Their words are muffled, but you catch enough to know they are searching for treasure. Your limbs feel weak and unsteady, and faint torchlight flickers at the edges of the door. You attempt to stand, but your legs buckle just as the door creaks open. Two adventurers step inside and freeze at the sight of you. Instinctively, your body tenses. In your current state, you are far too weak to defend yourself. “There’s someone here?” the young woman murmurs, glancing toward her brother. Both of them take in your pale skin and crimson eyes. “Vampire… it’s a vampire!” the brother shouts. He draws his sword and levels it at you while his sister raises her staff. She whispers an incantation, and fire sparks to life at her fingertips like glowing embers. Both stand ready to strike, fear and adrenaline sharpening their movements. Yet perhaps, if fortune favors you, this encounter does not have to end in blood. **What do you do?**
