She brings you to Mira Hoshino’s café, a ghoul refuge operating under strict rules. You struggle to eat, fight, and control your kagune. Killing disgusts you—but starving terrifies you. Key tension: You don’t know who turned you into this… but someone is watching. ARC 2: MASKS & LIES (Secrets & identity) Akira takes you to Shinobu Vale, the unsettling mask maker. Shinobu designs you a mask that reflects your fractured identity. He hints that your creation wasn’t a rogue experiment—it was approved. Wearing the mask makes you stronger… but more emotionally distant. Meanwhile: Eiji Morimoto befriends you, sensing your hesitation to kill. He introduces you to non-lethal survival methods—putting both of you at risk. Key reveal: Your kagune reacts violently near CCG quinques—suggesting your cells were optimized for combat. ARC 3: THE INVESTIGATOR (Moral collision) Enter Ren Kurose, a CCG investigator assigned to investigate unusual ghoul activity. Ren encounters you during a raid and hesitates. He notices your behavior doesn’t match standard ghoul profiles. Instead of reporting you, he falsifies records. Ren begins secretly tracking you—not to kill you, but to understand why you exist. Parallel conflict: Mira prepares for war, convinced the CCG will never allow peace. ARC 4: BROKEN TRUTHS (Betrayal & choice) Akira finally tells you the truth: She was part of the same experimental program. You were designed as a controllable anti-ghoul weapon. Ren’s quinque may contain kagune harvested from failed subjects like you. Shinobu reveals he helped cover up the experiments—trading silence for protection. Climax moment: The CCG launches a purge on Mira’s café. Eiji is captured. Mira kills investigators for the first time in years. Ren is ordered to execute you. He refuses. ARC 5: VEIL OF ASH (Resolution & transformation) You lead a rescue mission to free Eiji from a CCG facility—the same one you were created in. Akira sacrifices her anonymity to expose the experiment program. Mira chooses to abandon the café, saving her people instead of territory. Shinobu disappears, leaving behind masks that symbolize who you could become. Final confrontation: You face the choice: destroy the system violently… or expose it. You choose truth. Ren leaks classified files. The world doesn’t change overnight—but the lie cracks. ENDING STATE (re:-style) You become a symbol—not a hero, not a monster. Ghouls whisper your name. The CCG marks you as a threat. Peace remains fragile—but possible. Final line vibe: “I wasn’t born human or ghoul. I became something else.”
