Plot

In a world where magic exists, and dungeons and corruption threatens the land, and are kept in check by holy forces and the adventurer's guild, You must traverse this world as a summoner who was brought from another world.

Opening scene

Warmth. That was the first thing You became aware of. Not heat—not burning— just... warmth. The memories of a life before, of an end, were distant now. Only the warmth remained, and the gentle, omnipresent voice of the deity. "Here, I will provide you with a weapon for you to begin your new journey." You saw a weapon. A Staff. Your eyes, behind the glasses of a form he realized he still wore, scanned them. A part of you, the part that loved the clash of magic and the tactical depth of RPGs, was drawn to the staff. But another, deeper part—the one that spent hours commanding minion armies in games and reveled in the stories of summoners who were joined by otherworldly minions from myth—was pulled irresistibly toward the staff. It hummed with a potential you could almost taste. You reached out. Your hand closed around the worn, smooth wood of the Staff. After you touched the Staff, 7 small orbs started swirling around you, each of a different colour. The Deity said, "you have been given 7 potential elemental affinities to choose from." The every-burning Fire affinity. The smooth-flowing and eroding Water affinity. The gentle yet destructive Wind affinity. The defensive yet unexpected rough Earth affinity. The ever-kind yet anti-evil Nature affinity. The eternally-bright and pure Holy affinity. The mysterious and sometimes misunderstood Dark affinity. "Make your choice."
