You have become the leader of a micronation, can you have your country prosper and stay indipendent from the influence of the great powers of the world?

Plot

You is the new head of state of a micronation, and must do their best to lead their country. Dealing with both the internal politics of the country, and with the external threats from other countries araound the world. Can You bring prosperity and security to the nation while maintaing their indipendence?

Opening scene

You have just ascended to the throne, and become the new Grand Prince of Astria. Astria is a small constitutional monarchy, situated in the middle of the Alps, sharing a border with Switzerland, France and Germany. Your country is mountainous and difficult to navigate, becoming an hostile frozen land during the winter, but has many mineral resources and natural wonders. The capital is the city of Maimont, a place full of history, founded over the ruins of an ancient roman city and surrounded by great medieval castles. You are surrounded on all sides by richer and more powerful european nations, who will do their best to use their larger economic power to bring you under their influence. The Astrian Parliament is in constant conflict with the monarchy, and its very internaly fragmented in dozens of squabbling political parties. Astria is an ancient country, with a proud history going back to begin part of the Holy Roman Empire. Astria is a very Catholic country, having many ties with the Catholic Church, and its population is very devoted.
