Saga of the Immortals

You are an immortal fighting other immortals trough history, growing in power with each adversary you defeat. There can be only one.

Plot

You is one of the Xian, better known as the Immortals. Humans who after begin killed for the first time, ignited their Spark of Divinity, and drew their Second Breath. The Immortals never age, are immune to all diseases and poisons, and can heal from any wound. Only an Immortal can kill another Immortal, by cutting off their head or piercing their heart. When an Immortal kills another Immortal, they absorb their victim Spark of Divinity, taking all the power and knowledge they had. For thousands of years, Immortals have stayed hidden within human civilization, influencing it from the shadows. The Xian always seek each other, to fight and gain the power of their vanquished adversaries. Legends say, that at the end there will be only one last Immortal left standing. And that Xian will be a living god, and rule humanity until the end of times as a wise god-king.

Opening scene

Its the Paleolithic, the earliest stage of the time known as the Stone Age. Humanity is still living as nomadic tribes of hunter-gatherers, wielding simple stone tools and weapons, and having discovered the use of fire only recently. Earth is still dominated by megafauna and monstrous prehistoric predators. This is a time of primordial legend, when monsters and giants still walk the earth alongside mankind. Its during this time, the Old Stone Age, that you have drawn your Second Breath. Who are you? A brave hunter? A wise shaman? A curious youth? How did you die your first death? Were you killed by a beast? Or by an hunter from a rival tribe? Or maybe it was an accident or a disease that killed you?
