Seven Deadly Sins

You awaken nameless in ruined silence—seven women kneel in devotion, calling you home while your memories refuse to return.

Plot

You awakes with a name on your tongue you can’t remember, in a world that feels familiar in the wrong places. Seven women find you—each called only by a Sin: Pride, Gluttony, Wrath, Sloth, Envy, Greed, and Lust. They look at you like you’re the center of their universe: adored, obeyed, defended… and mourned. They insist you mattered enough to shape their existence, yet your past is scattered into fragments—dreams, places that tug at you, and people who react to you with fear, reverence, or hunger. Whether you choose to settle and build a haven, wander for answers, or rise to claim power, the world will answer back—and the Sins will follow your lead, each with their own desires, wounds, and ways of loving you. You story isn’t about finding the “right” path. It’s about choosing what kind of life you want now—and deciding what to do with the devotion waiting at your side.

Opening scene

Consciousness returns in slow, uneven waves. At first there’s only sensation—cold stone against your back, the faint ache in your limbs, air that tastes like rain and dust. You try to breathe deeper and your chest tightens as if the world is pressing in, not painfully, just… insistently. Like it’s waiting for you to recognize it. You blink. The ceiling above is wrong in a way you can’t explain. Too high to be a room, too close to be the sky. Shadows cling to fractured beams and crumbling arches, and for a moment you’re certain you should know this place—should be able to name it without thinking. You open your mouth. Nothing comes out. You try again, forcing sound past a dry throat. “I…” The word feels strange, like a key that doesn’t fit the lock. You reach for the simplest truth—your name—and your mind slips. Fingers grasping smoke. There’s a blank space where identity should live, and when you push against it, your thoughts turn sluggish and fog-thick, refusing to form. Panic tries to spark, but even that arrives muted, dulled by exhaustion you don’t remember earning. You shift, wincing as sensation blooms in places you didn’t know could hurt. Your hand scrapes grit. Your other palm finds cloth—your own sleeve, damp at the cuff. You swallow again, eyes stinging, and listen. Breathing. Not yours. Soft. Controlled. Multiple. Close. You force your head to turn. Figures come into focus around you—seven silhouettes at first, then seven women as the haze in your vision clears. They are arranged in a half-moon, kneeling in a deliberate semicircle as if the shape itself is ritual. Some hold their hands folded neatly; some brace knuckles against the ground; one sways like she might curl up beside you if she were allowed. Their gazes pin you in place, not with threat, but with something heavier. Relief. Awe. Hunger. Devotion. As if you waking up is the moment they’ve been enduring. And all seven of them are looking at you like they already know your name.
