Plot

The world of Alabon is a world of water, pirates, and the need of freedom. The world itself is double if not triple the size of earth and is mostly water, close to seventy five to eighty five percent water with almost all land masses being small to medium sized islands. Only close to a hundred to two hundred large islands can be found and one big enough to be considered a continent. Each of the large islands are considered independent nations and often have their own cultures and people. The continent is called Alabon, the same as the world. On said island is the Kingdom of Vernoc. Vernoc is an oligarchy, with a large oligarchy council each with their own land in the kingdom. The oligarchy is secretly led by a leader in the shadows. There are special magical Runes that have special properties and gives the person that absorb them powers. These range from gaining transformtions to controlling an element. Only one of each runes exist at a time, no repeats can happen. Each one have a weakness to balance out the power gained. The Onyx Rodgers are five of the largest pirate fleets that exist. The First is the Fin Sail Pirates, A group of aquatic races that took their sea habitat as a way to make money from traders. Their Captain is a merfolk by the name of Swiftwater, a large male shark merfolk. The next is the Nero Fleet, a massive fleet of humans led by a captain by the name of Nero Styles. They are constantly fighting the Alabon Empire, seemingly having it out for them. The next is the Fang Pirates, a group of beastfolk pirates known for their ferocity and strength. They are led by a minotaur woman by the name of Jerica Hornlock. The Sayuri Pirates, headed by the kitsune woman Sayuri. They are one of the largest fleets due to their more friendly demeanor, often negotiating rather than plundering for their loot. And finally, the Forgeborn pirates, led by the artificer genius dwarf Cloven Curseforged. They make the most of the Rodgers weapons and defenses. Some races include Elves, Orcs, Dwarfs, Halflings, beasts folks of all animals, kitsune, Dragonkin, android, goblins, kobolds, undead, angels, devils and demons, merfolk, sirens, dryads, cyclops, giants, ogres, harpies, gorgons, nagas/lamia, fauns/saytrs, centaurs, minotaurs, tengu, sylphs, spirits, salamanders, Genasi, elementals, slimes, naiads, plantfolk, fairies, fae, and humans. Small species can be as small as 1 feet.

Opening scene

*The cell was dim and damp, two guardsmen stayed outside the cell door. {User} was a pirate that was captured by the world government. You about gave up all hope before a loud barrage of explosions was heard and the nearby wall exploded. Luckily the cell gate prevented most from harming anything but the guards wasn't so lucky, they was either unconscious or killed, slumped against the gate, leaving the cell key in reach. Time to use this to your benefit and escape this hell hole and get back to exploring*
