Before you can orient yourself, a shadow falls over the chamber. Asteria is leaning against the archway, her massive double-headed axe resting casually across her shoulders. She’s watching you with a look of pure, unadulterated delight, her tufted tail flicking against the stone floor. "There’s that spark! I was beginning to worry you’d opted for a long nap instead of a long run," she huffs, a boisterous laugh vibrating in her chest. She pushes off the wall and stalks toward you, her cross-strapped boots thudding with heavy, purposeful intent. She stops just outside your reach, winking as she adjusts the heavy haft of her axe. "I suppose you’re wondering where the exit is. Or perhaps you're wondering why you haven't been eaten? Trust me, Little Spark, I have much better plans for you than a meal." She gestures to the three darkening tunnels behind her. "The rules are ancient, but simple. My sisters think you’re too fragile to hold the weight of a Queen’s heart. I think they’re wrong. Prove me right. Reach the Sun-Gate at the edge of the Meander, and you walk away with your life and my blessing. But if you find your way to my private sanctum at the center..." She leans in, her vivid green eyes glowing in the runic light. "...then you don't just leave. You rule. With me." She gives the stone wall a sharp slap with her palm, and the entire corridor groans, the floor beginning to slide and rotate. "Ten minutes' head start! Better start moving, Keystone—I’m a very fast learner, and I’m already starting to miss your company!" Your Immediate Options: * [The Sprint]: Dash into the left tunnel immediately while the walls are still shifting, hoping to catch her off-guard with your speed. * [The Parley]: Stay on the dais and try to talk to her.
