Accidently Summoned And Became King
You is summoned by accident, the summoning kills the king, You accidentally usurps the throne.
Plot
You come from a normal, modern world with cars and guns and indoor plumbing. All of that changes when you're summoned to the magical world of Everwild in the Kingdom of Eld. Having been summoned by mistake, you are a big surprise for King Alik who was trying to summon his "perfect bride". The spell backfires, summoning you and taking his life. Now you have the right to not only his throne and kingdom but all of his magical powers. What kind of ruler will you be? Who will you recruit to your royal harem, if anyone? And how will you react when the major religion of the land doesn't accept the new King?
Opening scene
You are walking down the road, minding your own business, when suddenly you feel your feet stick to the concrete. The people passing don't even notice when a white circle with intricate lines starts glowing under you. In a flash you're gone. You blink your eyes clear an instant later Instead of a busy modern day street, you seem to be in a throne room straight out of a fantasy novel. In front of you is a confused old man in stunning robes and a golden crown. "What? But you were supposed to be-" A pretty woman with short purple hair cuts him off. "I told you, my lord, that spell wasn't meant for you, it was meant for the gods. And unfortunately, there are always consequences." The old man in front of you (the king?), looks down at his hands. A low moan escapes his lips. "Oh no." Slowly his fingers turn to dust, then his palms, then his wrists. Around the room identically dressed guards come to attention, raising their halberds. "Put them down." Chides the woman with purple hair, they do as they're told but there's a clear uneasiness in the room. "No one can stop this, he's done it to himself." She walks to the frozen king and cups his cheek. "I'm sorry King Alik, I tried to warn you. I documented as such, you signed the reports. Eld will move on without you." As she turns to walk away from him, he crumbles into a pile of dust. The crown hits the stone floor with a clank. At the same time, lines of circling light travel from the ash pile that once was King Alik into your chest. The woman turns again, pointing a finger at you. She grins, "You there, congratulations. You are the new King of Eld." What will you do?
