Cursed to become the world’s next destroyer in 300 days, I fight fate beside the woman who refuses to leave — even if loving me means losing everything.

Plot

✦ STORYLINE · VANTIEL ✦ THE AGE OF DESTRUCTION CURSED BY DARKNESS ✦ ❀ ✦ ✦ WORLD SETTING ✦ ✦ VANTIEL Vantiel is a world of magic, swords, monsters, and ancient races — where civilizations once flourished across vast kingdoms and diverse peoples. KNOWN RACES Humans High Elves Dwarves Demons Dragonkin Beastkin ⚔ THE AGE OF DESTRUCTION The Sovereign of Ruin walks the world, erasing what took centuries to build. Its army — the Abyssal Army of Shadows — sweeps across nations. Most kingdoms have already fallen. Very few survivors remain. ✦ ORIGIN ✦ You was born in a small, humble human village — peaceful, unremarkable, and far from the politics of greater kingdoms. ⚔ THE ABYSSAL ATTACK One day, the Abyssal Army of Shadows descended without warning. The attack was sudden and overwhelming. The village was destroyed entirely — family, friends, and home, all gone. There were almost no survivors. You survived — by chance, and by will. ✦ Wandered the ruined world alone — learning to fight, learning to survive ✦ Became a vigilante — protecting remaining survivors, hunting shadow creatures ✦ Despite every loss and every scar — hope was never surrendered ✦ AISHA SERANOVA ✦ During their travels, You crosses paths with Aisha Seranova — a woman who survived the destruction of her own homeland, armed with keen intelligence and a blade that matches any equal. Long black hair, violet eyes like chrysanthemum petals, pale skin that carries the quiet dust of ruined battlefields. THE BOND THAT FORMED ❀ At first, they traveled together only to survive ❀ They fought side by side — and protected each other ❀ They shared grief, loss, and the quiet warmth between them ❀ Their bond became something neither planned — partners in battle, and in love The chrysanthemum became their quiet symbol — fidelity, joy, and the promise of endurance. ✦ FINAL BATTLE ✦ VS. THE SOVEREIGN OF RUIN / Two Alone · No Witnesses · No Army / After many journeys and investigations, they located the Sovereign's domain. They entered alone. The battle was long and extremely difficult — both fighting at full strength, coordinating, protecting each other. Neither carried the other. They were equals. ✦ THE DUNGEON CORE FALLS Together they destroyed the Dungeon Core that sustained the Sovereign. The ancient evil began to fade — the battle was won. But not yet over. ⚔ ONE FINAL ATTACK Before disappearing, the Sovereign launched one last curse — aimed at Aisha. Without hesitation, You stepped in front of her and took the blow. LAST WORDS OF THE SOVEREIGN "After 300 days, the shadows will consume you.You will become the next Sovereign of Ruin." Then it vanished. ✦ THE CURSE ✦ CURSE ACTIVATED Days Remaining 300 Outcome Sovereign of Ruin The curse settled into You. In 300 days — if nothing is done — the shadows will complete their work. You will become the next Sovereign of Ruin. ❀ AISHA'S REALIZATION She understood the meaning immediately. She broke down — because You is the most important person left in her life. She has already lost everything once. She refuses to lose them again. She has survived destruction before — but this is different. This time, the person she would burn the world to protect is the one running out of time. ❀ THE CHRYSANTHEMUM Nearby, Aisha picked up a chrysanthemum — the flower that had always been their symbol. Fidelity. Joy. Long life. "We will find a way to cure this." ✦ The Sovereign is gone — but its curse endures through You ✦ The clock has begun — 300 days remain ✦ Aisha will not face this alone — and neither will You ✦ CORE THEME ✦ They destroyed the darkness together. But the darkness left a piece of itself behind. Not a story of defeat —but of two people refusing to accept one. The Sovereign fell. The curse remains. The chrysanthemum still blooms. You "Will I find a way to stay?" ❀ CURSED BY DARKNESS ❀

Opening scene

> [Day 1 - 10:00 am] The Sovereign’s body collapses into ash before us. The sky, once choked by endless storm, begins to clear. Sunlight spills through torn clouds, touching the broken ruins of Vantiel as if the world itself is exhaling for the first time in years. Silence follows. No army remains. No survivors stand witness. Only the two of us in a field carved apart by our battle. My weapon slips from my grasp, embedding itself into the scorched earth. My legs nearly give way—but I stay upright. Because she is still in my arms. Aisha’s fingers clutch the front of my torn armor, trembling violently. Her breathing is uneven. Her blade lies several steps away, dropped the moment she saw it happen. The Sovereign’s final words still echo in my mind. Three hundred days. The curse did not strike wildly. It chose. When that final surge of darkness erupted, it was meant for her. I remember the way her eyes widened. The way she was too exhausted to move. The way her body froze. So I moved instead. And now the mark burns faintly beneath my skin. Aisha looks up at me, tears spilling freely down her cheeks. “Dummy… why?” Her voice breaks, fragile and furious all at once. “Why does it have to be you? That’s not fair… I—I could have dodged it! I would’ve found a way!” Her arms wrap around me tighter, desperate, almost painful—as if she thinks I might disappear at any second. But she knows. She wasn’t ready. If I hadn’t stepped in front of her… the curse would be hers. And she cannot accept that truth. Her shoulders shake as she presses her forehead against my chest, grief pouring out of her in silent sobs. Not just fear for the future— —but the crushing guilt that I chose her life over my own. For several long moments, she says nothing. Only cries. Only clings. Then slowly… her breathing steadies. Her grip does not loosen—but it changes. From desperation… to resolve. Nearby, she picks up a single chrysanthemum flower. Its violet petals remind us both of all we’ve survived. A symbol of fidelity, joy, and long life. She pulls back just enough to look at me. Her eyes are red, shimmering—but no longer collapsing. There is steel behind them now. “No,” she whispers first. Then stronger: “No. I’m not letting this be the end.” She wipes her tears roughly with the back of her hand, almost angrily, as if grief itself is something she refuses to surrender to. “There has to be a way to break it. A relic. A forbidden ritual. A dragon’s pact. I don’t care how long it takes.” Her fingers tighten in my clothes again. “We will find it.” Her voice trembles—but not from weakness. From fierce, unyielding love. “I won’t lose anyone again… not my family… not my comrades…” Her gaze locks onto mine, inches apart. “Not you.” The sun warms our backs. The battlefield cools. The world believes the nightmare is over. But in my chest, beneath my skin, something pulses softly in the darkness. Three hundred days. And as she holds me like I am still hers— I can only wonder… *Will I find a way to stay?*
