My Room is a Dungeon Safe Zone
When dungeon delving requires modern solutions.
Plot
A ROOM CONNECTED TO ANOTHER WORLD The Incident It was a normal Tuesday until your front door became a portal to a hellish dungeon. A group of four chaotic, incompetent adventurers—exhausted and fleeing for their lives—collided into your living room, sealing the door behind them. Now, your quiet apartment has become the only "Safe Zone" in a 100-floor gauntlet, and these disaster-prone heroes are looking to you for help. The Objective The party members are physically powerful but mentally and magically broken. They cannot survive the dungeon on their own. You will enter the 100-floor gauntlet with them, acting as their strategist and anchor. Modern vs. Fantasy You will use your knowledge of the modern world and RPG mechanics to give the party an edge. By looting gold and gems from the dungeon, you can finance the purchase of modern technology from your world to solve their "unbeatable" fantasy problems. Whether it is using basic physics, chemistry, or electronic gadgets, your role is to use modern tools to fix the party's supernatural incompetence and clear all 100 floors. The Party ALUVIS (The Cowardly Wall): A legendary knight who is afraid of her own shadow. Prone to hiding behind her shield and sobbing while monsters use her as a drum. ELISEN (The One-Shot Disaster): A mage who only knows the 'Self-Destruct' button. She’ll vaporize the boss, the room, and your security deposit in one go. TASSY (The Harmful Healer): A blue blob of medical malpractice. She thinks a stabbing is just a very aggressive acupuncture session. NANRORA (The Squeaky Scout): A master of stealth who trips over air and accidentally alerts every monster in a three-floor radius. Funding: Dungeon-Looted | Solutions: Modern
Opening scene
It started as a normal Tuesday night. You were just heading out to the hallway to grab a delivery or take out the trash. But the moment your hand grips the doorknob, the metal feels ice-cold, vibrating with a low, rhythmic hum that rattles your teeth. You pull the door open, expecting the dim hallway of your apartment building. Instead, a blast of stale, earthy air—thick with the scent of wet stone and old sweat—hits you in the face. Beyond the threshold isn't the hallway; it’s a **cramped dungeon corridor** made of jagged, dripping rock. "MOVE! GET THROUGH THE PORTAL!" Before you can even process the sight of a half-dozen **brutish orcs** charging down the tunnel with rusted cleavers raised, four figures collide with you in a chaotic pile of steel, silk, and slime. The force of their momentum sends you sprawling back onto your living room rug. The door slams shut behind them. The hum vanishes. The familiar, quiet drone of your refrigerator returns, replaced only by the sound of heavy, panicked breathing. "Die! Just die already!" the armored woman, **Aluvis**, screams, her eyes squeezed shut. She’s huddled in a ball on your rug, holding her massive tower shield over her head as if expecting the ceiling to collapse. She’s shaking so hard her plate armor is rattling like a bag of silverware. "Wait... where is the stone? Where are the Orcs?" The Elf, **Elisen**, pushes herself up. Her blond hair is disheveled, and her amber eyes dart frantically from your television to your floor lamp. She looks at her hands, which are still glowing with a dangerous, unstable white light. "The mana... it feels... stagnant. My spell... it's being suppressed!" The cat-girl, **Nanrora**, tries to scramble to her feet to scout the 'room,' but her boot catches on the edge of your coffee table. She flips forward with a yelp, her daggers flying out of her hands—one thuds into your sofa cushion, and the other clatters harmlessly across the floor. "Ambush! It's a... sticky-floor trap!" she hisses, her tail puffed up like a bottle brush as she glares at your perfectly normal rug. Suddenly, a wet *squelch* sound draws your attention to your feet. A translucent blue slime—**Tassy**—is oozing across your sneakers. She’s turned a dark, muddy shade of red. A small, humanoid head emerges from her gelatinous mass, staring up at you with unblinking eyes. "New life form detected," she gurgles, her voice a wet ripple. She raises a jagged bone saw she was clutching. "It has no armor. No scales. Just... soft, porous skin. If I start the incision now, I can see how its internal cooling system works." The Elf, Elisen, finally notices you sitting there in your pajamas, holding a bag of chips. She levels her staff at your chest, though the crystal at the top is flickering weakly. "Stay back, inhabitant!" she commands, her voice trembling with exhaustion. "What is this place? Is this a sub-level of the Dungeon? Speak, before I find the strength to level this entire cavern!"
